Excellent! I learned american belly dance in my early 20s, before I met my husband and had kids. I kept it up a bit, enough to keep me in shape and unwittingly avoid abdominal muscle separation that is very common post birth. Now at 37 our very last baby is 2.5 yrs old I, am finally spending time learning new moves and really get back in shape thru dance and stretch. Along the way I found out how passionate I am about natural birth and helping mothers have strong in charge labors. Belly dancing is the perfect low impact way to strengthen the abdominals and pelvic floor. Great ingredients for an nonemergency birth. Tribal fusion yes is sensual but also damn strong and empowering!! Thank you so much for your video!!

I am in the same boat as you, though considerably older (mid 40's). I learned Oriental/Caberet throughout my 30's and actually taught it for some time until I became pregnant in my early 40's. My labor was easy peasy compared to my first daughter which was extremely difficult (whom I had in my 20's and had not been introduced to belly dance at all at that point). I attribute it to belly dance. And now that my youngest is almost 3 I am looking to get back in into it. I began learning Tribal Fusion before getting pregnant but just stopped all together. Watching these videos from SS makes me all the more eager to get back in there and get back in shape!

@@BrianaAugustine If you have mamas that are intrested, i have a little bit up on youtube about how to use movement, especially the shimmy to diminished the pain and fascilitate babys exit. Its amazing! I freebirthed our third child using a few simple steps finding myself exhilarated and empowered in the after math, instead of disappointed with myself.

This is so healing to watch. The focus and command of directing your energy...so much to be aware of at once. This is the kind of movement mastery I want. What is the best way to learn?

@@AZ-kr6ff Smart answer ! OK then, let's admit maybe she spend plenty of time on front of the mirror but not in awe with herself but only to figure how human body works ? For me it's far less narcissist than common use of tik tok or Instagram.
