It's like my grandpa said to me, when leader don't listen to advice and critique of those below them, they'll never grow. if you're smart you'll listen and assess what you're told. He'd know what he's talking bout though, he left as a Chief Master Sgt.

I haven't seen a video focused on having personal goals or hobbies while in the Air Force, I think it could be a popular topic. For example, Airmen that vlog, give financial advise, make art, build electronics, studying in college; how do the two lifestyles yin and yang as they say. Can it be easy to loose motivation with personal goals while serving in the Air Force?

Also man, an idea for a video, not sure if you’ve done it or not, but the BTZ process since you made it. Maybe some things you recommend to E-1 thru E-3 so have an idea of what to expect.

I’ve always have been a stocky guy. You obviously would not have the same problems as me, but maybe you could get the perspective of any bigger guys on issues with their weight/waist measurement. It’s been a dream of mine to join the Air Force and I’m finally approaching an acceptable weight to join. So in short, I am interested in peoples’ takes on that struggle that have been in for a while.

In tech school do you have to get your stuff shipped to you from home.

My recruiter said that after meps they don't really care about your weight. Like you know how we had a minimum & maximum weight for our height, he said that doesn't apply after meps & that in basic & for the rest of your career it doesn't matter. The only thing they truly pay attention to is your waist size & it meeting the standards there, is that true???

Allyson Geida I have a friend in the Air Force & Marines that have both told me the same thing, in operational if you make tape & pass your pt they don't care?
@allysongeida58277 жыл бұрын
robbyk 16 , there are weight restrictions some people get a waiver some don't, it's a case by case,
@XxKATASTR0FICxX17 жыл бұрын
Weight doesn't matter in the Air Force as long as you make the tape measurement which can't be above 38 I believe

in an army(in your case AF) you need logistical support and a team, so when you get out of there, you're nothing, you don't know nothing, you're going to feel lost, the fate of a soldier is to die fighting, I was a military man now that I am in civil life, I would have liked to die in combat, here I feel lost.
@MartinProductions7 жыл бұрын
Cirilo Nicolas and I appreciate your service. However as I’m sure you know, a lot of military jobs now are not down range and don’t require on your toes thinking. Some jobs require true tradecraft and knowledge that can benefit from a life previous before the military
