Two Years of Ownership Experience - BMW 335d M57 E90

Bought my 2011 335d in March 2011 currently with 78k km on the odometer. Other than emissions, never any issues. Recurring emissions CEL’s started 10 years after purchase which means I was out of warranty coverage even though I only had 51k km on the odometer. Finally deleted at 66k with no regrets. Recently drove across the continent putting on 11k and it drove like a champ averaging about 6.7L/100km at average speeds of about 130kph. Only negative of my entire 13 year ownership experience, other than emissions CELs is the “dieselness” of highway cruising. What I mean by that is the NVH transmitted into the cabin when driving on very smooth surfaces at highway speeds. On grooved or rougher pavement, I find the diesel NVH is pretty much canceled

Thats what i did to my car. No more 3k endless emissions fix.
