Who would have thought a narrow strip of cleared land around a mainline railroad and passing track deep in huge forest trees could show such stupendous video shots! Of coarse you have to be a very talented photographer to see the potential and take advantage of the moment! Very well done! I will subscribe to your channel as I enjoyed this very much! And those GE units sound like “rolling thunder” when the “pedal is put to the metal”!

Not sure if you've seen any of Canadian Pacific's HU and military tribute units. It would be so sweet to see BNSF paint one in the green and white with the BN logo, and the very old CB&Q scheme.

I did see one heritage unit, it was the BC Rail one. It was on an westbound oil train that passed by my location just as I was pulling in and getting ready to set up for videoing that day. Yea, I wish BNSF would do some heritage units, that 25th anniversary unit with the decals......they really cheaped out on that one.

If you don't mind, as a fan of the rails but never someone who's worked on them, what is a Z train? or a Q? what do the letters represent? I've seen this designation often but never understood what it meant.

It is part of the designation for the type of train, a Z is a high priority double stack train consisting of domestic containers and TOFC including Fedex and UPS. This link will help explain it better than I can. www.qstation.org/bnsf/BNSF_Train_Symbols.pdf
