You have good employers. It's probably easier to tell them once you already have a job, but I worry that companies would just rather have someone without an illness. I have a significant gap in my CV due to illness. That's difficult to explain without putting an employer off.

Great video, I’ve watched it multiple times . I love how both of you are well spoken on these topics. It’s very important to have these conversations. I wasn’t diagnosed with my chronic illness until my late 20s, trying to work without understanding, communication and reasonable accommodations. Burned me out and hurt my reputation.

Great advice. With my fibromyalgia the hardest part for me is maintaining my quality of work with chronic pain .

This is great insight! I'm curious when you think it's best for someone that's dealing with a chronic illness should potentially look for other work opportunities as you mentioned in the video? I've devoted my time to helping people with autoimmune create online businesses like you mentioned that would give them freedom and flexibility with their illness and lifestyle.
