I know we all like to blame the FDA, but please understand that Congress controls FDA’s budget. Therefore, FDA does as Congress wishes. And who controls Congress? Yes, lobbyists. And the pet food industry has a HUGE lobbying group with a lot of $$$.

Purina is a joke. Let them come after me. I got nothing. Too broke buying the most expensive cat food for my 9 cats and so far the best on the market is Orijen Brand. I’ve been researching since 2017. I consider dry food as a supplement & spend a couple hundred each month on raw real meat. Thanks crayladies!❤

are the regulations better say in New Zealand as some pet foods sold here in Canada are imported from New Zealand or Italy? Of course, most of the pet food in Canada is imported from the United States. If euthanized animals are used the chemical used to kill them would remain in the body sent for rendering. Do they test for chemicals in the rendered meat?
