My cat was recently diagnosed with IBD, and I have been doing a ton of research to transition him to a more natural diet. I watched every single live this week. Thank you so much for such invaluable information. It couldn’t have come at a better time in our lives ❤

Is this week's Christmas balls to the wall on a playlist yet? If so, link please. Also, as I was listening to this one, it might be fun to do interviews with raw transition success stories. Hint, hint: my 12-year-old Ragdolls is transitioning in 2 weeks with the help of Pam Rousell! Now they're 14 and still eating raw - amazing after trying "everything" when they were 6 to transition them.

Is metronidazole bad because my girl has IBD and been on it for over 2 years, same with steroids.

what was she eating before the IBD got diagnosed? Ideally, it would be great to get her off metronidazole and steriods - but need to heal that IBD in order to do so. Metronidazole and steriods are treating the problem. You can most likely fix it treating the cause.

@@Floppycats before IBD cat chow and then they discontinued it and that is when issues started. I don't know if that was a coincidence or what. It took years before she was diagnosed though with 4 different vets. She is 12 years old now and was a stray that came to our house so I don't know her background.

probably was the Cat Chow, vaccines, etc. I'd work on healing the gut - TCCL might have a protocol for healing IBD.@@fluffysuds

It can leave some bad side effects according to studies. Here is a link to our IBD protocol and if you email us at info@twocrazycatladies.com I'll send you the study for metronidazole.
