Ret went from being one of the best roles: 1: instant confirmation of 2 players, you and the player you rez 2: equivalent of you healing a target from being attacked To one of the worst roles 1: Does nothing n1, the only night you're guarenteed to be alive 2: Does nothing if Med/Trans/mayor/vet dies 3: Typically can't act until after the game is long decided

Also add that if theres a Jani that prevents them from using the dead. And forger also messes with Retri. If the townie was forged as an evil u cant use them, if a townie is forged as a different townie it can cost an issue if it was a vig and you are non the wiser.

To be fair TS needed weakening a bit, the entire roster of TS was too powerful.

@@ominousflames14 trans, esc, mayor, ret still arguably strong because it will counter janitor if used right (which is the only role that can do that while the dead townie is dc’d) TS is pretty powerful i just wish i had more TS scrolls

I quite enjoy Ret on Ranked/Ranked Practice, not as much in the other modes because sometimes you are just plain useless with no usable town at all

Had a Coven all any game as retri recently and it was probably my best one yet, probably because all evils were stupid. By n3, there were 2 crusader's and 1 BG dead, which opened up a lot of opportunities for me to protect town and myself. I ended up using both crusaders to kill CL and the BG to kill the mafioso and won the game for town, without ever claiming retributionist.

I feel like Mafia and Coven are great, but town is so much more fun. The deduction when part of town is much more fun than trying to fool the town and try to get the town to wrongfully accuse people imo. What sucks is I’m always given mafia too and teammates tend to leave when given maf :/

I have to say I enjoy playing town as well. I enjoy the aspect of figuring out who is evil, rather than just cause straight chaos.

I play mostly CAA because I like the chaos, but I should probably try some more structured modes. CAA is one of the few modes where I can lose due to my fake claim being "confirmed". Had a WW game where I wanted to fake Exe and so instead of using a weak Sheriff claim I opted for Tracker, but somehow it took until day 4 for people to finally consider it over the Sheriff and Psychic claims. The issue was that the person I claimed had killed on n1 was actually the mafioso. Went for fake Exe, ended up fake Tracker, immediately got killed by Jugg the next night.

Yesterday I was ret and it was a jani game so I claimed right away d2 there were no usable roles until d3 but I got jailed. Then n4 I use dead sheriff on someone who was jailed. Then d5 mayor revealed so I used dead bg on them but then there were no kills anyway cos the maf was jailed but they don’t vote them out. Then I use dead sheriff on that person and it’s sus and there’s only 1 evil left but mayor hangs me even though the other person didn’t claim at all until that day and claimed sheriff. We still won tho cos it was jailor and mayor vs mafioso.

Why don't u grind out more ToS ranked outside of KZbin. I'm new to the game having only watched your videos for a year and in less than a week I hit diamond. Most of my knowledge comes from watching you but it says you are silver does rank just not matter? Love your videos btw I live for your ranked vids most of all.
