This song is about the Iraq war that started in the 90s with the U.S. so all the lyrics have a deep meaning.. System one of the greatest band ever they were my 1st rock concert and it was incredible but seen them 6 times live in concert so far and hoping there will be a 7th (fingers crossed). Serj Tankian (singer) and the rest of the band have grandparents and family member who were survivors of the Armenian genocide committed by the Turkish Gov't at the beginning of the 1900s. So their music tents to be ani totalitarian, and critical of governments and societies the see as sick and depraved. They know what happens when a Gov't goes awry with power. Very good reaction and you guys were absolutely spot on with the interpretation.

I think you ladies would like Anesthesia-Pulling Teeth by Metallica. It is basically a bass guitar solo by Metallica's bassist at the time, Cliff Burton. Cliff died on September 27, 1986 in a bus crash in Sweden while Metallica was on tour. Basically Cliff and Kirk Hammett (Metallica's lead guitarist) drew cards to see who would get their pick of sleeping bunks on the bus. Cliff won the game and took Kirk's bunk. Cliff died early the next morning when the bus went off the road and flipped over on its side. Cliff was thrown through the window of his bunk and the bus ended up landing on top of him. Cliff was only 24 at the time of his death.
