Excellent my friend! At 68 I am so envious of you as a native Californian who fished, hunted and backpacked the lovely Sierra's partly from my folks old ranch in Slough House. All the time we were fishing in the streams around Loon Lake and all that area and living on the Cosumnes River we could have been panning in between those fish. This video is awesome it’s cool seeing gold come out of conglomerate. That conglomerate can be really good to you some times. I was showing Todd my place, but I was just swinging a sledgehammer that day so he only found 3 pieces. I’m gonna bring a skid steer and a breaker attachment to it to move more Material. TwoToes ! It is always fun/interesting to watch Your Vids. I think that the chunk of conglomerate weighed less than a pound, and produced more gold than I would have thought. What would a ton produce ? Just a thought.

2000 x 0.25g 500 grams if every rock out there was identical, which they're not. Seeming that it took a good part of the day to find it I'd assume 10% would be a good call for numbers. Approximately 50grams per ton on a humble calculation.

does the iron content in the ground make the sdc kind of screwy. does with my vlf. (gold monster). i was out swinging in the mojave i realized finding all kinds of junk (no on has been here.). there are many people like you with more experience. then me. have a good day

Ground mineralization does not effect the SDC ( a pulse detector) as much as it does a VLF (Gold Monster is a vlf detector)

Gary, have you ever used sunny bright (original formula) for dissolving unwanted material from your gold ? - it works great, especially for dissolving fractured quartz from the gold, or conglomerate material. Last time I looked, you could buy either the original or the (improved) formula, which doesn’t work. It’s usually found in the household cleaning products that remove mineral deposits such as lime away.
