Our Rating System:
We are both firm believers that it is unjust to review and rate an album after only hearing it one or two times therefore our method for reviews is much different than everyone else on KZbin.
Our review process starts off with a "listening session" where we hear the entire album from beginning to end, uninterrupted. We then post a video with our initial thoughts and opinions of the album. Over the course of a week we will each listen to the album as many times as we can, analyzing and critiquing it. Then at the end of the week we will post our full and final review of the album which will include our ratings.
Our scoring method is unique to this channel as well. We each rate the album out of 10 but anything 8 and above simply just gets our Toe Tag. In order for an album to make it onto the list above it must receive Two Toe Tags. It if only gets one or none then it does not make our coveted list.
Any album that receives Two Toe Tags is considered a top quality album of elite status and highly recommended by both of us. Be sure to Subscribe and turn on Notifications so you will always be in the loop with all the awesome metal we review!

Yeah but its been basically the same members since their 2nd album except for Ashley Purdy who left the band last year. But you are right Andy is the only "original" member left since the very beginning.

They’re heavily influenced by the 80’s basically kept this similar look through their whole career except at the very beginning. Their vocalist Andy has always mainly used clean vocals but used more harsh vocals in the past. Cool to see Vileself get into that solo that’s what I like to see haha

I really like BvB and dont care what people think about that :D I can switch from BvB to Slaughter to Prevail in a sec :D so - He had Long hair yes. In the earlier records they got some screams but it was all Andy Biersack, the vocalist stayed the same -

I go from Def Leppard, to less than Jake, to black veil brides, to whitechapel or Viscera. Sometimes I’m in a mood to listen to Beethoven or Mozart lol. Other days I might feel like listening to older country like Garth brooks, or George strait, or even listen to Elvis. When music is good, music is good. I’m not gonna judge something for the style it is.

Same singer all these years. It was originally very emo/screemo type metal and I saw in a interview with the vocalist that at the time, the main reason he included the harsh screaming was because he didn't know how to write breaks in their music properly so he did screaming segments instead and of course when they got better at writing songs, the ditched the screams and matured into the band we see today.

Really liked this song and video. His voice on this song reminds me of Theory of a Deadman. Good guitar riffs in this. Vocals are really good also. I agree it does have an 80's feel to it. Digging it.

Happy to see you guys review these guys, they have some great songs all throughout their career, definitely have those screams yall are talking about, I would check out songs that aren't necessarily singles, shit check out the whole album BVB IV, songs like faithless, world of sacrifice, crown of thorns off that album are insane. I'd say BVB is that perfect mix of being ahead of their time with a feeling from the past, their older stuff like set the world on fire had songs like love isn't always fair, the legacy, new religion, if yall release another review on these guys I'll look forward to it! Andy Biersack has been the lead singer for Black Veil Brides since the inception back in 2006, He dyed his hair blonde for the video, he has had short hair for past several years! They where influenced by bands like, Motley Crue and Kiss. And yes the band which started off as really a Alternative band that attracted a lot of Emo crowd, but now have a BVB Army that is very devoted to both BVB songs but also Andy's solo career under the Alias Andy Black. and as well as lead guitarist Jake Pitts who has a group with his wife called Aelonia, But also produces for other groups as well! Newest member of the band is Lonny Eagleton who replaced Ashley Purdy in 2019.

I totally wasn't expecting you guys to react to this but new Chelsea Grin. You guys should tackle that one next. Hilarious music video. As for BVB, they're pretty new to me as well. I never liked them before for some reason just because they always seemed a bit cheesy with the overblown chorus. Don't get me wrong, it's catchy though. I believe the earlier albums had some screams. Glad you guys enjoyed it!

The vocalist Andy is one of the founding members of this band. Their first album was a little on the emo side of things. Over the years they got a little heavier and started Sounding more hard rock. I call them the new age Motley Crue with avenged sevenfold influence. I like everything they have released except the first album. Wasn’t too crazy about that album. And he does scream from time to time

They went through a huge evolution from starting as a Hot Topic scene band, complete with swoopy black hair and unclean vocals, to a fairly comfortable arena hard rock band. Their main guitarist can utterly shred when he wants to show off. Andy's vocals are way more refined than they used to be. New album announced with this video

Yes - do more Black Veil Brides! You should react to 'Perfect Weapon', it's a big contrast to this song. Or 'Faithless' - which is my favorite BVB song. Andy's voice has improved a LOT over the years, but I loved the first albums and his screaming. He can do anything, the new album will be a "Quasi-religious dystopian concept"-album and I can't wait to hear more!

Third Album 3. Wretched and Divine: The story of the wild ones (2013), this album is a Concept album. Fourth Album 4. Self-Titled Black Veil Brides (2014). Fifth Album 5. Vale (2018). Now the EPs, EPs are smaller albums basically, first EP is rebels came out in (2011) 1. Coffin has a music video, 2. Rebel yell which is a billy idol cover, 3. Unholy and the song ft. Zakk Wylde the badass guitar player. Second Ep is called The Night (2019) 1. Saints of the Blood 2. The Vengeance, Black veil brides have two music videos for this EP. Black veil Brides re-record their first Album We stitch these wounds (2010) they made a re-recording of their first Album which is now called re-stitch these wounds (2020), Black veil Brides wanted to Re-record their first album because they weren’t satisfied of the outcome of album, and they had a low budget of 6000 so they decided to re-record the album 10 years later for the anniversary of album. Album six 6. The Phantom Tomorrow (2021) is coming out early/mid of next year and this new album is a Concept album as well and Andy Biersack the frontman said the band is working on a comic book to go along with the album story. Black veil brides stared in 2006, Andy Biersack was a teenager when he formed black veil brides I believe he was 16 years old, Andy Biersack was supposed graduate High school but instead moved to L.A to start a new life as a musician so in 2009 most of the old members in BVB left. The current line up for Black veil brides. Vocals Andy Biersack 2006-. Lead Guitarist Jake Pitts 2009-. Rhythm Guitarist, piano, violin jinxx 2009-. Drums Christian coma 2010- (CC) stage name. Bassist Lonny Eagleton 2019-. Lonny replace former bassist Ashley purdy and yes it’s a guy and not a girl. I won’t get into details on why they kicked him out you guys can do research if you want to. Last thing I’ll say Black Veil Brides are my favorite band, my favorite albums are the first two albums we stitch theses wounds (2010) and set the world on fire (2011) and the (2019) Ep is great as well. You guys should check out knives and pens music video first, it was the band first single and the old members of black veil brides are in the video, Andy was 16 years old at the time even tho the video was released in 2009
