A lot of people hate on this band, but to me they're a really solid gateway band. Like if my cousin's 13 year old son walked up to me and told me they like Black Veil Brides, I would tell them BVB is cool and then recommend they listen to Slipknot or Bullet For My Valentine next.

If you haven't heard Re-Stitch These Wounds I highly recommend it, they did a fantastic job re recording WSTW from scratch and the production and mix blows the original out the water!

Restitch These Wounds released this year and it was honestly a lot better than the original. The mix on it was fantastic. Definitely recommend checking it out. They basically matured the album and gave it that big rock sound that they’re now known for

honestly as a huge fan of H.I.M and The 69 Eyes, and among others. It seems very traditional gothic rock or "love metal", some tinges of the glam rock and what not are there too. They really have snuggled in tight into a sound that is for sure a good bag of music.

alright so since I did a project on Black Veil Brides for school when we were doing music history I can explain exactly what's up with his name so Andy Sixx was his stage name in his earlier music years as a bit of a tribute name to Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue, later on, he started using his actual name Andy Biersack however in his solo work he goes by Andy Black to further differentiate his solo work from the band

I completely agree with Wyatt, I used to not like their early stuff at all but when they transferred to the hard rock stuff with the big choruses like fallen angels and stuff.
