I live out at Saggart and would love to improve the images of the area. I landed a FS2020 helicopter in the street where my grandchildren live, they weren't very impressed. So yes please a tutorial would be great 👍

Just saw your very interesting video after a recommendation - very good! Now subscribed!! One of the things that really bugs me in MSFS is that grass lengths are far too long on grass runways. Any chance you could do a quick and simple video on how we can get the grass shortened? It really would be very useful to me and the many other GA flyers out there!

This is awesome. I’m hoping to remodel Blackpool like this as the default scenery for Blackpool is abysmal and even the best add-ones leave a lot to be desired. It will be a big job but if I can at least remodel about 3 blocks back from the seafront and put in the winter gardens as no add-on has acknowledged the existence of the winter gardens or Madame Tussaud’s or the Golden mile amusements. Should be an improvement.

So is this scenery will apply to your computer only? Or it will be globally to any MFS2020 users. Meaning if I open the flight sim and fly to that location. The question: Shall I would find that scenery that you had created or not? Note: I’m using Xbox, and I wonder if this will work on your computer only or if it’s globally. Kindly feedback.

How did you create the XML File.

Yeah, instead of dealing with 4,000 files, you could have put the model into Blender, combined them all, cut off what you didn't need, and combine the textures. Probably would have taken you like 2% the time.

It looks way better but what a lots of faffing for something that should do it properly in the first place. I've had to turn off photogrammerty because all of the buildings just look melted and skewed with stretched textures everywhere I go and I can't see myself doing this for everywhere I like to fly.

it depends on a lot of things. Some areas are better than others, server lag, bandwidth, etc. I think the main issue with this tech is that from 2000-3000 feet up it can look amazing. Any lower, without custom built objects, it can look a bit odd. Early days yet though - give it time, it can only get better

The decoder file you referring to is not and .exe and more but a zip with only 2 files. Is there another way to download this decoder? Thanks in advance

Hey Murphy... thanks for this tutorial. I'm a photoshop user who would like to do the same batch color correction you're doing with the photoshop action MSFS FIX. Can you possibly give us a head start by offering this action to us in a link? I, for one, would be very grateful. Installing an action is eary with photoshop.

Great idea but for anyone who hasn't ever touched MSFS development, as soon as you said about setting up files, you lose us. Setting them for what? As what? Where and why do we need to do that? All we see if fast forwarded changes and that it changes the files I love the showcase idea but it's way to fast and vague in many ideas to be able to follow if not done any editing before. I really want to add my village in the sim as the rendering of it seems way off but this hasn't left me any the wiser sadly. :/

@@gibboireland ah my apologies then, I went back and it was in the nearly 60 seconds where was the thumbnail and I always skip them as use to it being a minute or two of waiting for stream to start. It was very much delivered as a tutorial than a typical showcase plus the thumbnail looks like a guide thumbnail (especially given the difficulty slider which I have only ever seen on kits/tutorials myself) hence why I brought this up. Re the interest, there's been a good number of people already say they want one so I hope to see one out soon :)

Just an FYI I use a popular program called Affinity Photo and it's a one-time $50 (No Subscription and it's just as good as photoshop IMO if not much better in terms of performance and It can batch color correct 2500 textures in about 10secs

At the moment, its AI based scenery drawing. In time, these areas will get more attention. Orbx are working on a Dublin City scenery...

Man I could just frisbee whip my fkn laptop out into the fkn yard right now. I have no idea what you did when it just blows through 30 screens. I fkn hate MSFS. None of my file folders are named exactly like what yours are.
