We did not experience this, but several years ago we did hear of several of our readers having this issue. We assume it must’ve been a certain batch that had the problem. Did you buy the rack new?

We bought the rack today and had the same issue unloading at the bike park and then again when back home. When we could get better leverage and two thumbs pushing down on each side of the clamp that seemed to help.

Very well done. Just bought mine and can't unscrew the hitch to pull off. Feels like the screw is stripped out of the box. My problem not yours. Great review!

We use both Thule and Yamika. Pretty much any top tube adapter can be used.
