This,is amazing!I'm watching this video with my 86 year old mother.40 odd years ago,her and my father(rip),travelled all over Canada and the states. My father built a tent trailer, very similar to "Ruby",that he pulled behind his loaded '78 Goldwing.Every so often,I would hook up with them on the road.I had a '78 400 Hawk.Kick start only and drum brakes.I put many miles on that bird! I loved that time in life and your video brought it all back to my mother and I.Beautiful!

Heres a great tip for riding out West .Fuel stations are few & far between. I made it a point to stop every 110 miles . I get 44 MPG but you just don't know when your on the road out West .You don't want to run a fuel injected motor out of gas .

@@TwoWheelsBigLife I went before the rally for my first visit and it was very enjoyable. Vendors were mostly there, no waits for food or merch; roads not crowded and the parks/campgrounds weren't busy either. Second visit was for the actual week. We went to the 76th so the crowd was smaller as so many went to the 75th. Only detractor that time was the novice riders on the roads. Had too many close calls from people who must only ride that week! For decades I did the ride there approach to my 2 wheeled travel; but last fall I decided to get a toyhauler RV and pull it with the Ram 3500. I arrive to wherever it is and set up camp. Even retired life has obligations and too many times I need to get there and back in shorter time frames. Thanks for the "ride along" with your videos. Ride safe and enjoy.

You had what i think was a cascading number of errors. 1 error causing the 2nd , etc. I think the voltage regulator broke, that subsequently fried the stator AND the ECM. electronic modules do NOT like over-voltage. Same for batteries, if the bike overcharges the battery long and hard it can cook the battery. Anyway, thnx for the fun video.
