Why did you go back down instead of going uphill, since you were almost there. Just curious, no judgment, there must have been a good reason. Help me understand please. Cheers, I learned something today.

Good explanation of the differences. I wonder what trail measurements are? (Angle between C/L of neck shaft and C/L of forks)

Wish you guys were still on the road with your bike trailer, not the truck and camper.... Came across you guys back in 2021 while I was in rehab for the replacement of both knees at the same time. What gold it was watching you guys...

You both would’ve enjoyed River Road way more if you were on much smaller dual purpose or dirt bikes……I was wondering early on when your guides were going to confront you and say we gotta turn around,,,,,this terrain is not a good match for your skill level on these behemoth bikes you’re on.
@TwoWheelsBigLife
@TwoWheelsBigLife Ай бұрын
But we did it. And yes smaller bikes would have been better

@ I applaud your drive to finish. Your skill level could’ve gotten you and others in major trouble ( injury-broken immobile bike(s)- more time riding in the dark). You shouldn’t depend on others to pick up your bikes….it gives you false sense of security if you don’t have pro guides along for your other adventures + you would’ve enjoyed the day more so on smaller bikes.

Are you two pretty much done with creating new adventure con tent?...Hope there arent any health issues holding you back!... Yet,.. I do know that life happens to us all whether we want it to or not. In my case,... dire life-threating issue with my wife has pretty much stopped any riding for me for the near future. Hope all is well on your end. Howard

Hi y'all, I have just read your circumstances on the community page. Been a fan since the beginning. I hope you are doing well and are able to take some long weekend trips and still enjoy camping. Blessings to you and I hope you are able to still make time to camp, and to put out new videos.

How I do it but just tried to w my girls size small and it doesn’t work. Not enough material around the ankle portion so that the snaps will connect. Probably works on any chaps but size small.

Just love your videos! Im always researching different things for trips im planning with my wife or want to plan someday. Would absolutely love to travel the country like you 2 have! Anyway i kinda bounce around on van life style, cause we tried that this past season with the intention of throwing my bike on a hitch carrier and exploring 2up but have really wanted to try motocamping. Well my wife wants to try motocamping also. So were going to concentrate on that for 2025. Its funny that ill search all these different videos and youtube channels but keep finding myself back here, cause you 2 have already done it! Were from Michigan and just did the east side of the upper peninsula in the van. Next season 2025, were going to do the west side on the bikes! We also discovered absolutely no cell service almost the whole time in the u.p. Thanks for all the amazing videos!!!

Love your guys videos! Researching motocamping for some upcoming 2025 trips with my wife. It would be an absolute dream to do what you 2 do and travel the country on motorcycles! We're actually from grand rapids Michigan and just did a trip to some of these same places in Michigan's upper peninsula in a campervan we've been building. Now we really want to do some motocamping trips on our bikes. Awesome channel and videos and info. Thanks!

You also need to check the tires. Not only for air pressure but for a dry rot. Add a trailer I was playing with a motorcycle and it was all over the place. Replacing the tires and having them balanced help a lot. Also if you're going to be changing tires you should be doing the wheel bearings also in the trailer.

Yeh, that’s a steep incline with a trailer weighing 500 lbs, having to stop with any loose gravel -eeeeow. I’m 72 and I realize periodically, just how much riding a motorcycle requires thinking ahead and keeping one’s attention on the immediate, lol

Wich side of the Mississippi river is better to ride on? East or west side? Cause different maps can be found on the web showing the GRR being on both sides of the river. Than you!
