Rich and Chris, we had a picnic table cover just like the one your showing. We celebrate the fact that we wore it out and now have an replacement that is blue and white. We have the clips just like yours and continue to use them. Brings back memories of us all sitting at assorted picnic tables in our travels at night with the sound of our Coleman lantern purring and sheding a soft light while we discussed past and futrue adventures and each of thumbed through the various books we brought along for some comfortable reading. We have relatives in South Dakota so we've enjoyed some of the State. Yes you've reminded us of some good times. Thanks for sharing!

I pulled out my trailer from a shed last fall. It was a pleasant surprise to open it & find a newspaper, some brochures & our old red checkered table cloth like yours. We last used it 20 plus years ago on our motorcycle camping trip to the Black Hills from Saskatchewan. Getting it refurbished with new tires, bearings & paint for our next adventure after a long break! Love all your videos. Yes, an indication of your dates would be informative. Thank for your posts!❤

My Dad worked for Boeing refurbishing and updating/upgrading the missile silos throughout the midwest. We lived in Wall, SD for awhile... 1971-1972... and naturally I went to high school there. I also worked at Wall Drug Store. I used to ride my motorcycle all around the area there and into Rapid City and back. When I left there in 1972, I rode my bike down into Colorado about 42 miles east of Denver. A few months later... I rode it back up to South Dakota again. All this riding with my big ol` back pack on my back all the way, each way. That's when I went on active duty in the Army in 1972. I took some of the Wall Drug Store signs with me to take pictures of them in different places around Germany. Then I mailed the pics back to Ted and Bill Hustead... They own Wall Drug Store. If I remember correctly, Ted was the father and Bill was the son. I had some classes at school with Bill's daughter. I can't remember her name. Dark, basically black hair... and she was a beauty.

The Blackhills is an 8 our drive ( 10 hours really ) from out location so not a bad trip. I think I like the hills better than any other place we have been. It is crazy how storms can just appear and dump hail on one area where others are dry. I am guessing this video was done some time in the past? Temps are in the 30's now is why I ask. As far as tire balance, well I have well over 1.5 million miles on various bikes and have yet to balance any MC tires. I found many years ago that in general they are pretty well factory balanced. I have had only 2 tires ( in 35 years) that were out of round which I send back to the vendor. So good move on removing the weights. I have done quite a bit of testing on beads and other methods and found them to be ineffective and a waste of time and money. I have watched all your videos and find them to be impressive and enlightening. I am planning summer rides out west right now and thanks for listing the roadways you are taking as I enjoy new and not seen before scenery which I normally locate via "I am lost" methods. Now head south before the snows hit.

I loved my Commander 3’s, but the front tire was defective. My bike vibrated unless in a turn, then it would smooth out. Michelin determined that the front tire center tread grooves were defective on some of the 17’s and more of the 19’s. They replaced my tires free of charge, and I went back to the Dunlops. If they fix the tread prob, which they said they are working on, I would try them again. Glad you have a good experience with them. Ride safe, and yes tire maintenance is a serious thing. I’ve been down on I80 in Nebraska because I decided to push a rear tire past it’s limit, because I thought I could make it home.

Thank you. My late wife and I stopped at the Vore Buffalo Jump in October of 2016. We were on the return home leg of a cross country road trip. My wife passed in 2018. Of all the points of interest we stopped at there were only two that I couldn't remember their name or exact location. This was one of them. When I saw the preview last week I was hopeful that this was the same Buffalo Jump site. It is. Thank you. I am still trying to remember details about the other site. Thank you for helping me remember parts of my favorite trip. The only way you could have made it any better for me was if you included pictures of or comments about the prairie dogs at Devils Tower National Monument. We spent some time watching them. Their behavior is interesting. And they are cute.

Richard you have my blessing to use that it's always good for a smile. You said you got 13000 miles on those tires. Was that both tires got 13k or was it the front only my experience is usually is a two to one front/rear. I would be interested in switching to those if you get that good of mileage from them. Great video again. When we were out in the Black Hills in 2012 we stumbled on to The Minutemen National Monument. It was just a trailer just west of the Badlands NP entrance. We were out there in 2015 and they had built an entire visitor center. Very interesting. In 2012 we were brought to one of the missile sights and were able to go down into the silo. Hope you were able to see it . If not it is worth a stop next time your thought the area to check it out. The next day we rode to Devils Tower. At the visitor center in the parking lot a couple of bikers parked near us. One of them had the same bike as Bob. R1150R . We got to talking, we mentioned the Minutemen Monument and low and wouldn’t you know the Dad was Ex Air Force and was a minuteman. Small world. Looking forward to the GRR videos. Ride safe.
