I like riding bicycles and walking on remote, remote paths and rugged roads.. Your experience is riding a bicycle together.. And I do not know whether you are a couple.. or friends.. I follow most of the cyclists around the world via KZbin.. I was impressed by your experience.. You are wonderful.. I thank you and encourage you - I follow you from Jordan...

Heard about your trip on Adventure Rider Radio. Love the videos, BUT would have loved some Argentinian or Andean music instead of the driivng rock! :) All good! When I travelled down there nearly 40 years back, I collected local cassette tapes. I play them near and then , bringing back memories of that trip.

I can only imagine Ruta-40 in the 80s! Hardly any pavement I bet... Very cool. I'm glad you found this from ARR, we had a good time recording the episode with Jim... Obscure ethnic music is a tough one, since we are a monetized channel and we have to be licensed to use music. We subscribe to the largest music catalog online, but specialty music like that is nearly non-existent... 😒

I was wondering if you knew how close you were to the Uruguayan crash site--I recognized the name Termas del Sosneado immediately. If you hadn't mentioned it I was going to. I was living in Uruguay at the time and let me tell you, it shook the Uruguayn nation just as deeply as 9/11 shocked us in the U.S.

Alive and touching the void were two of my favorite books when I was young. I always loved stories of survival in the harshest of conditions. It's what inspired me to become an EMT and eventually go into search and rescue!

Two things..how come there is such a shortage of petrol. And how often do you clean or change your air filter...still enjoying your adventures..thanks guys.
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Жыл бұрын
From what I understand the fuel shortage is a result of multiple factors. The general downward spiral of the economy continues to corrode the general supply chain; coupled with a massive increase in domestic tourism, the demand outpaced the compromised ability to supply. As far as the air filters are concerned, hardly ever.
@grahamcairn8379 Жыл бұрын
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets thanks for the reply. I'm surprised about the air filter. Can't beat a Honda. I've seen other utube creators get bikes given to them and their videos are pretty poor compared to yours. One lady was given a new Africatwin adventure sport and I really don't know why Honda did that when you both are using it for what it was made for. Hopefully Honda see what you guys are doing and give you a new bike.
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Жыл бұрын
@Graham Cairn thanks for that! Been riding the Africa Twin all over Latin America and took a CB500x up to the Arctic... I even used to race desert on a Honda 250X. Can't beat 'em!! Most of the deals made with content creators are not with the manufacturers, but with local dealerships who usually aren't very savvy when it comes to the facade of social media. All of our followers are 100% genuine. We've never paid for followers or "seeded" our KZbin account, which is rare. Once you know how the sausage is made it can be a bit stomach-churning. A lot of content creators buy followers and then use their supposed reach to leverage free goods and services from vendors and dealerships unaware of the fact that the majority of their followers are fake. It's the sad reality of social media and KZbin. That's why so many accounts with subpar content have such a huge "following"... 😒

@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Жыл бұрын
