Sometimes you get the best tips just by watching how someone else does things! All the time I've been beading, and I never knew your way of getting the beads right on the needle straight off the hank string, that's a great take-away!!

me too, also about splitting the threads after making a knot, maybe I already do this unknowingly but you made everything so clear and lovely demeanor and voice. thanx so much I want to make handbag handles just for the glitz of it, always have to have some bling!

Thank you so much. I'm here because after watching several other tutorials and attempting a beaded rope I failed because I tried to pass the thread through the bead too many times (causing a huge disaster) so I'm super glad you mentioned not to do that in this video.

I usually bury my thread and just weave my way through to the end of the beads that way you can’t see where i ended or started especially when you have to change threads. hope that helps someone anyways love you work also. 😁😁💯💯❤️❤️

When I start a project like this one where there's danger of the knot following the thread through loosely woven material I begin by putting the needle through the cord then between the two threads down at the knot and pull it and that keeps it from escaping. This takes a lot longer to read than to do.

I’ve heard other KZbinrs say they do all their videos as soon as the kids have gone to bed and another one who says she always does her videos as soon as her kids leave for school. I have three great grandchildren. I’m always surprised how noisy they are. My husband worked nights and slept during the day and our children were always very quiet and didn’t run around screaming or carrying on, but he still had to turn the TV on and use black curtains because the kids in the neighborhood and the dogs barked and all that kind of stuff while he was trying to sleep. I have a pack of blue beads, but I’ve used some before so I’m going to buy another one the exact same color and see how far I get with one. Bottle of beads.

Yes you can use sizes other than 11. Smaller beads would be more time consuming but possible! Larger beads would give a different look to it, but also possible
