Well I am so glad you guys made it ...all in one piece. Ollie, I would suggest that if you are going to do more motorcycle traveling, I ..since I have been riding for about 53yrs.. go take a good motorcycle repair/ maintenance /training course on how to do repair on your bike. It will really be useful going forward and will probably keep any problems from being a headache. You don't have to know how to completely overhaul a bike, but a lot of good info is out there. And yes i would have replaced that battery way back, when they start to go bad, just get a new one, so you aren't left stranded. I will say your bike did very well with very few problems which was good. Looking forward to future videos. Stocky in TX.

@@LaviandOllie Oh cool. I'll keep an eye out for the video in the morning! Yep. I'm editing footage from my Bali trip last year which involves multiple cameras, including editing 360 footage. Sooo time consuming! 😂 I often think that I'd be the same after going through Mongolia and Kazakhstan. I've been strict for years here and in countries where it is easy, but I reckon I'd ease the vego thing in certain countries for sure. It's not a big deal.

I’ve been desperate to ask you both questions about your production/editing workflow, but havnt wanted to shatter the perception that you were still on the road for others. I have been ASTONISHED that you have been able to maintain the passion to continue editing to the quality you have once you got home. The episodes edited from home arguably increased in quality if anything, it never felt half hearted. Have been following closely and was aware where you were v what you were editing, from the Mark Travels meet up. It must have been so difficult to continue capturing your piece(s) to camera each day when you knew you were falling back on the editing Did you keep “director notes” of significant events/clips, or do a rough cut of the footage you would use whilst on the road to polish at home, or did you edit from raw footage each time??? I have stuff from last summer that I can’t bear going back to, because it no longer feels relevant. Looking forward to meeting you both in Northampton on 1st June.

We are definitely considering making a video about our production workflow. We always tried hard to make sure the episodes we done to a high quality and weren't boring at least 🤪 We didn't do any directors notes but I think the thing we got better with as time went on was filming less and less to only the relevant stuff so when it came to the editing we could just throw it into the timeline and then trim it down to the finished product in a shorter time. We edited from raw footage each time, Lavi does the first cut and I do the final with all the music etc. As much as editing is a challenge, you just have to put in the hours and get it done, at least to honour all the filming you have done
