" disgusted " France and the French play a major role in the success of belgian French-speaking artists. it's simple, almost all Belgian French-speaking artists find their success in France. in your opinion, what's the reason for the lack of Dutch-speaking / German-speaking music stars from belgium? France is an opportunity for Belgian French-speaking artists, there's no reason to be "disgusted".

@@fjord6940 hahaha, I hope you're joking. There is no lack of dutch-speaking music stars from belgium. They just (Mostly) make their music in english cause its a much bigger audience, and because of that reason, when they do make their break, they make it big.

@@wafelijzer4909 I mean I hate that Stromaë is confused as a French because he speaks it, I feel like Belgium deserves more respect. And that's coming from a French, but you're proving his point, dutch audience isn't big enough for the singers who sing in this language so they turn to english. Which is totally fine.

Why don’t you watch ALL his music videos if you are studying film making? All his videos are pieces of art partly inspired by Jacques Tati, the brilliant and famous movie director, actor and comedian. I assume you have seen his films like Mon Oncle and my favorite Playtime. Playtime bankrupted him, because he build a part of a city for that movie.

Interesting. Years ago, I took a film class in college because I thought it would be a easy way to meet a University requirement. I didn't realize how much meaning there can be in film and how clueless i was about it. It was quite an enlightening experience.
