Now that I’m getting a better look at this the way that both Idia and now Vil have confronted their overblot selves accepting the bad parts of them kind of reminds me of Persona 4 in a way where the characters faces their shadows and accept the bad parts of themselves that they didn’t want to admit. And it makes me curious how it will go with the other 4 Overblotters Also I mainly love that concept since I am a Persona 4 fan and it’s my favorite of the Persona games

I love Persona 4. My twin bought it for me a few Christmases ago since he knows I'd wanted to play a Persona game and that I love Japanese urban legends. I'm still playing through it lmao but yeah the confronting the overblots is just THE most Persona-coded thing I've seen and honestly I love it.

Also, as you mentioned, the fact that Epel acknowledges that we always get through everything might be an important factor in the future. Maybe we would get an actual Yuu dream beacause remember, we woke up alonside Grimm but in Mickey's dream room. We didn't get a full Grimm's dream world or Yuu's.

Yeah like. I would love to see a full dream for Yuu and Grim, although I think if Yana were to do either, it would be Grim. Which still interesting but honestly I wish we had more Yuu as their own character.

Yeah like as much as I dislike the song, I really don't like how they localized that part of Book 5. Like I'm glad I don't have to do that twistune again but I think the way they worked around it was just. Not it. Although I guess if they silence the music and we hear Rook sing-mumble it, it'll 100% confirm that it WAS contract issues with Neige/maybe the dwarves that got Minna de Yahoo banned from EN.

Yeah it makes me wonder when we get story content after chapter 7 if it's gonna be just as long as Chapter 7. Because while I like seeing the past and it takes a while to tell a story this big, I have to admit I've been having chapter 7 fatigue for a while now.

@@princessmacarons9347 I wouldn't say I feel the same but I understand how you feel. I think this story should have been divided in two big groups. LIke Chapter 7-A being the begining, the whole backstory of Lilia until we meet Idea on the clifhanger. And then Capter 7-B would be awakening all the students for the battle with Malleus. Whith that division they could have realeased more episodes with less dates or release more frequently. But it's just an opinion, I know this things take a while.

Sorry for the late comment! Thank you so much!! I was really curious about this recent main story update when it was announced! I was seeing footage uploaded by Japanese players, but I don’t understand Japanese, so I had no clue what was going on, haha! I am glad we are all in the same boat that Buff Epel is terrifying! Why they did not resize his head is beyond me… I guess the Vil event happening when it did makes sense to set up ground work for the Fairest City location. I have seen other fans talk about this as well; I thought that Fairest City had a hodgepodge of inspirations, being both Mediterranean (specifically Italy and France) and California inspired, which is certainly an interesting mix, but does makes sense given the multiple inspirations of Twisted Wonderland’s universe and characters. This definitely is going to be a really long main story arc, which at first I was kind of indifferent towards, but, at the same time, I am also curious to see the dreams of the other characters. I just hope that some of them aren’t too heartbreaking to see. This was certainly an interesting and honestly, kind of fun update! I never thought we would see the day of Savanaclaw Rook! I love his Savanaclaw design so much! The other Persona series vibes I was starting to get from Book 7 would be between Malleus and Dr. Maruki from Persona 5 Royal. Maybe a little? Hope you are doing well! 😊

the JP version????? There's two servers: JP and EN. I play both of them and since JP was released in 2020, it's ahead of EN when it comes to the main story. So I just translate and summarize the latest JP story updates for people who don't care about spoilers.
