hey, maybe it's because of the overblots since they're a near death experience and somehow yuu gets involved, indirectly triggers overblots(done by someone else but in their presence)and then they(overblots )get sorted out.

@@sorcerersapprentice yeah and what I meant was that they said in the video that yuu is sort something between life and death and isn't overblot situations similar to it? Overblot, near death situation. After it gets sorted out, it's like living? Even in the maga yuu(s) their name links to underworld or death as shown in the video. Perhaps yuu was meant to be in twisted wonderland? To solve everything out? I don't think they're dead or a ghost but has some mysterious energy/power in them which no one not even themselves know of.

I don't buy the theory about MC being a "technical ghost" as in "not quite dead yet," simply because if that were the case, MC wouldn't be able to visit all the locations outside NRC like the different characters' homes. They would have to stay on campus to be in the magically suffused location.

i don't believe we know about the history of ramshackle dorm, but what if ramshackle dorm (since it doesn't have an assigned villian) is the support kind of dorm? maybe ramshackle was once for people with the ability to keep powerful people at bay/solve issues?

@@IzukuMidoriya-qr5fw This happen within Book 6 when Idia made a speculation about what if "someone" is causing the overblots to happen on purpose. Even though he quickly brush it off as absurd, it kinda foreshadow something. Think about it, the moment Yuu and Grim became students at NRC, Overblots happen within half a year. Which Idia stated to be unusual. Also the fact that Yuu was having dreams and visions of the true nature of the Great 7 and let's not forget the fact that we the players are able to see clips of blots as they slowly grow, and what happens next, an Overblot. Yuu and Grim are one of the most mysterious characters in Twst along with Crowley, and I can't tell if Crowley tried to summon someone who he thinks is special enough to be able to save people from overblots through the power of teamwork. We've seen many versions of Yuu (which supports my other theory the Alternate Dimensions and Time Loop), but Crowley is still looking for the most special of them all. There's so many fish in the sea and if Crowley managed to catch the rarest and most special that can change the course of the story, he will do anything to keep them. I know it sounded way too absurd to be real, but seeing that Idia stated it himself, I hope this won't be a plothole. Twst rarely has plotholes and I hope Idia's speculation wasn't one of them. Maybe the power hasn't manifest yet but in time it will come out. And oh boy if Crowley found that out, he will be ecstatic, considering he values Yuu as a beast tamer and a team leader. Maybe it's just me but it would be a great plot twist that the magicless mc develops an ability to manipulate the most mysterious and dangerous phenomena of the magic world, Blots. Idia would call the MC as an Isekai MC with a broken power. 😁

@@mystique9130 Your theory is actually makes sense in a way because ever since yuu stepped foot in nrc there's been overblots in every single dorm and it's also because of them that characters grew closer with eachother. Maybe they do have some sort of mysterious energy to them? That nobody not even themselves know of? There's grim too. There is something that links with them.

I found it to be quite odd for overblots to just 'suddenly' start happening frequently when MC/Yuu arrived at NRC....and the mirror visions too...I know that I'm probably overthinking this but the more deeper I go, the more I'm convinced that MC/Yuu is **definitely** not just a 'normal' human. I mean there's this one head cannon in the fandom that since the mirror was the one who brought MC/Yuu to NRC, they must've had **some** magic 'sprinkled' on to them? Overall, I really loved your theory!

Não podemos esquecer também de que Yuu consegue falar com Mickey, mesmo se são só de vez em quando. O Mickey, de alguma forma, também está conectado com Yuu, e o Dormitório Ramshackle foi baseado no quarto onde Mickey dorme. Silver também já viu Mickey uma vez, mesmo não se lembrando muito bem disso (pois ele só viu o Mickey uma vez em um sonho). It's possible MC is in a coma back on earth (after being hit by a vehicle like all the others) and TWST is some kind of dream world/purgatory that exists on another plane (think kind of like Neverland or Oz) Yuu's choices leading up that climax with the obvious corrupted Grimm from the prologue will determine if they get to "live" (be sent back to earth) or their soul will be eradicated and the world will reset with another Yuu (also connecting this to the time loop theory)

I really want more videos about the prefect, I don't see enough (canon info) content of them in general. If I remember correctly, there are also tumblr posts that lists off in-game Yuu's canon info like; how they can play the flute, can play basket ball well, that they're apparently taller than Epel, etc. Maybe we can find more about them from there?

Can be a far stretch if we still on the theme of death in the game. since Grim could be the grim reaper mainly he been showing to "Collect" lost soul or Overblotstones. to add on that he does has the fiery hair like Idia and Ortho has with has some connection to Hades the lord of underworld. Also just spitballin here and if that chimera monster from the prologue is Grim will we just have the devil. That's all i got lol

I had a random thought about what pokemon type the prefect would, and I thought about ghost types because, well, the ghost at Ramshackle, but after watching ghost type pokemon would definitely be a right choice lol.

IDK why but i always imagine Yuu as being a victim of a magical mishap due to Grim's shenanigans when playing the game. Imagining that a potion he and Grim have to work on resulted in Yuu being Regressed to infancy due to having it's effects altered because of Grim's more ancient magic. And until the staff can help figure out how to cobble together an antidote the rest of the campus is forced to play babysitter and help him around campus which the students don't even hesitate when refusing, with a few exceptions. But as the Prefect helps lead everyone stop the respective overblots of each chapter even in his most helpless state, he slowly but surely earns the respect of each dorm and is given assistance from them in some way, shape or form. Being able to speak again after helping Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw acting as bodyguards if anyone on campus bullies Yuu, Octavinelle (mostly because the thought of Azul being thwarted by a baby entertained Jade and Floyd) assisting with restocking Ramshackle Dorms food when needed, Kalim lending his Magic Carpet to Yuu after helping Scarabia to help him get around campus easier, especially when left alone on campus like with Book 4, Vil providing extra clothes on top of helping provide funds to remodel Ramshackle House after Yuu helps Pomefiore, Idia and Ortho providing entertainment and tech to help make chores easier after the STYX Situation, and Diasomnia....that one i am still working on. But something about it just warms my Heart Parts and I don't know why my brain defaults to this idea when playing the game.

@@sorcerersapprentice that's true, you're right. Yuu isn't from twisted wonderland but how their personality is given as in the game perhaps they could be twisted from Mickey. Even my yuu isn't twisted from anyone it's just a version of me.

What if Yuu is actually a descendants of ancient and powerful wizard from Twisted Wonderland. Yuu’s ancestor has the ability to travel between worlds. Remember tode lost in book event where we were summoned to another world from magic book and meets Stitch from lio and stitch and we have another event where we were summon to Halloween town and everyone from nightmare before Christmas maybe Yuu’s ancestors was the one who created these books as each storybook is a portal to another world something like in Kingdom Hearts. Due to their ability to travel between worlds, Yuu’s ancestors was one of the top 5 powerful wizards that existed in Twisted Wonderland. However they mysteriously disappeared in Twisted Wonderland after an experiment go wrong as they were trying to create a portal to a world that is harder to get through. Everyone thought they died from the incident but in reality they ends lost and trapped in another world which is actually the known the world Yuu came from a “world of no magic”. While being stuck in that world, they were forced to live and adapt in this world will trying to find a way back home. However they ended up grew to love this world as they learn and experience what this world have to offer while meeting good people, making friends, and even falling in love. Throughout the years, their magic grew weaker and is slowly fading away as the longer they stay in this world. By the time, they found a way to way back to Twisted Wonderland, they decided to stay in this world as he doesn’t want to leave. Despite having a a great reputation of being one of the most powerful wizards in Twisted Wonderland, they don’t have a family or any real friends that respect him, if they does return home, they would be an outcast among the other wizards in Twisted Wonderland as they have lost most of their magic. Besides they won’t leave behind the friends and family they made in Yuu’s world. Despite the cost of their magic and become a magic-less human, they decided to stay in this world where they got married to their love of their life and have children and become an author who write books and stories of the world he have visited (which we know as the classic Disney fairytale stories we are familiar of). Through generations, each member of the family bloodline carries a tiny speck of magic in them, however due to being born and living in a world with no magic no one in the family can’t cast magic or aware of the existence of magic as they are just born as normal humans. Until Yuu was summoned in Twisted Wonderland. The more time Yuu spent in Twisted Wonderland, the hidden magic inside their body begins to grow. During their time in NRC and was involved in every Overblot incident, their magic is growing faster and stronger. But the end of Book 7 and the during the events of Book 8, they end of awakening their magic and Yuu gains the ability to travel between Worlds just like their Ancestor. With this power, Yuu can go home and travel back to Twisted Wonderland. But due to their inexperience of using magic and doesn’t have much control over how powerful their magic is, it would lead to creating a lot accidental mishaps which also include accidentally creating a portal to their world and dragging Grim and their some of friends (which includes probably Malleus, Sebek, and Silver) where Grim looks a real cat and Sebek and Malleus looks more human when they enter in Yuu’s world
