Mann... seeing only 1 Drag in top 16, and then a bear winning is soooo damn poetic after all the Drag 8 spam. Despite the 3 Jins, shoutout to the overall roster variety in the top 16. Seeing Kazuya, Xiaoyu, Hwoarang, Shaheen, Claudio, and Zafina being played by specialists was a treat. (Heck, even the 3 Jin mains are specialists too) Congrats to Rangchu on the well deserved win. Dragunov was already nerfed, hard. This tournament had the old patch without his nerfs and he is already bottom 9 for win rates and fell to top 11 most played (mostly due to the bs lies from people like you hyping him up as some crazy broken op character like Nina, yoshi and Jin, yet all the stats say otherwise, with only 1 Dragunov in top 16 and being bottom 9 online. Once people get caught up on reality, he will go down even more)

@@kato093 How is he "nerfed hard"? They just nerfed his damage and tracking for some moves. Hell, even D+2 can still track sidesteps so Atif can still spam it. Drag still got good pokes, pressure, wall-carry, insane wall setups and damage too. The character is still has no clear weaknesses.

@w21aaaaa they nerfed his damage a lot. D2 especially. Qcf4 doesn't knockdown and wallsplat. Wr2 has still bad frames. D2 is made to track sidestep genius. It's his homing move basically. His weakness is that he is one of the most linear characters and has trash homing and tracking moves. The wall carry is average, pokes are average too (how is jab and df1 "good"? Everyone has them. As for D2, other characters have the same move except it CH launches usually). Damage is average as well. It's not top 5 anymore. There's a reason he fell off in usage rates and his win rate is top 26 or bottom 9 for high ranks. All he has is pokes. All you can do is jab , df1, sidestep and the occasional wr2 into nothing cuz it's useless at +4, qcf4 into neutral cuz it's +7 at the opposite side of the screen and Dragunov is crouching, some very risky D2 pokes that do no damage and you give away your turn on hit, the occasional B4 "mix up" between the opponent blocking it or ducking and launching you, unless you time it right and get a hit. You won't see many dragunovs after they introduce the latest patches into tournaments. Even still, there was 1 dragunov in top 8, and top 16 too I think? And that's without the nerfs.
