Great video coverage. Some of the commentators seem confused about how drag cars and roll race cars are optimized. Roll race cars are geared for top speed and as set up typically would not do a great standing start drag launch. Drag cars can launch super hard and are typically geared so they hit close to maximum rpms through the traps. A brutal drag car can be built for under $100k, many of these Lambo roll cars are $300k. Just enjoy the racing, don’t get caught up in stupid games of deciding which car is the better phallus

Practically speaking it’s reduces load on the drivetrain so that you’re less likely to blow up a transmission like you could from a dig. Supposedly it decreases the amount of street racing that happens. I’ve yet to see any solid evidence of the latter however.
