The first wife was right. She won in the long term. This 2nd wife only won in the short term. Good lesson for women who don't see their worth and submit to being an illegal 2nd wife. He only wanted the milk from you, lady. He left you and even your 2 kids nothing. This guy got everything he wanted, had his cake and ate it too. Only you and the 1st wife got screwed, you more so than the smart first wife who kept all their wealth. She's smart not to divorce him, knowing he only wanted your body but never loved you. She knew her husband. And there's no sense leaving him for a similar Hmong guy, or divorcing him and dividing her wealth that she earned with her husband. First wife knew her limits in hmong society. Only you were the the fool. Her son fallen sick has nothing to do with your power, or curse. It's just coincidental. Hmong need to stop being superstitious. Death comes knocking on everyone's door sooner or later.

No such thing as curses. If there's such a thing, Hmong would've ruled the world. Lots of innocent people's land and lives are stolen. The innocent person's dead and the culprit's in jail but is now out and now has a life, wife, and children. Who's the cursed one? There's no such thing. People just say it's curse to make themselves happy. In most cases, the bad guy gets away with it and is still alive and kicking. The people who say they're saub (fortune tellers) or know curses are usually poor and/or are drug addicts.

WOW…this lady makes Hmong men have the upper hand. And yet this happens to an educated Hmong woman. I used to feel bad for our elder Hmong women back in the old days that they were forced to marry to a Hmong man with multiple wives. Now I realize that the polygamy in our culture are supported by educated Hmong women to become the second wife of this man. This is why our Hmong young men in this country still practice polygamy in today’s society in America. I’m speechless 😶!!!
