I found the same rodent in my 2018 tundra , droppings on top of plastic cover as well

Did you drive the truck much with the code thrown?? I have the same lroblem right now and it was driving fine, but today it wouldnt shift past 4th gear on freeway? 2016, 5.7, 50k miles

Mine felt weird, but it might have been in a limp driving mode. I didn’t drive it long enough. I fixed it pretty quickly after code appeared.

Exact same thing on my 2016, 58,000 miles. wouldn't shift out of 4th automatically, or with the manual mode. Did the replacement of the harness fix that issue as well?

Yes. Replacing the harness cleared the code and truck has been driving fine ever since. @@frankdrackman340

My 2012 is showing the same code and want shift Into 5th or 6th. Did replacing the harness work for you? I can't find any info sayings knock sensor will cause it not to shift gears.??

This was a great help. Went through this on 2015 Tundra this week. Just finished up. I had harness attached to rear of manifold. What a PITA to get free. Otherwise pretty much straight forward. I did not disconnect battery, and found I had to clear the code. MIL light is off, but still showing "Traction Control is Off" I tried cycling it manually with dash switch but no luck. Maybe I need to drive it? I did see my OBD reader still shows P032D as permanent code. Do I need a better tool to clear that?

I am happy to hear my video helped! It’s interesting you still have the code. Maybe mine cleared while my battery was disconnected. Your scan tool should have an option to clear code. Have you tried this? ….or, just disconnect the battery negative for about 5 minutes.

I used a different doorman harness, but it was for the 07 tundra. Maybe I should have used the same one as you?

did you have to disconnect water hoses / drain any coolant? or any fuel lines?

No. Just removed the intake manifold and related vacuum lines and harnesses.

No glue for the gasket if you buy a new one replacing the old.
