I swear Yeonjun must have had an amazing and super fun birthday. Being able to spend his birthday weekend at the VMAs and debuting a brand new song with his fellow members of TXT performing at the VMAs with Anitta, and then win the 2023 VMA Award for Push Performance of the Year. I am so so happy for TOMORROW X TOGETHER to be able to work with Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic again because Ryan Tedder wrote and produced a super fantastically amazingly super fierce song, and I say thank you to TXT and Ryan Tedder for giving us not one version, but we have been given and gifted 5 versions of Back for More. We get the original with Anitta, a Performance Version, one version with just TXT, and plus House and Afrobeats Remixes, which all 5 versions slaps so hard.

You should have seen the whole VMAs. The kpop contingent looked so upscale in comparison to the other groups, who seemed to have a fully covered body optional theme. I thought TXT really stood out in their choice of stage outfits. because of the difference, but it’s hard to explain. I’m glad Bang Si Hyuk was actually in the audience to see everything for himself. Doja Cat’s was probably the best of the night. I don’t know how old school you go, but here’s a little VMA hip hop r&b recap. Among the people not showing skin were the seniors. PDiddy was in full red leather, performing and has a new album out now. Mary J Blige looked pretty and tasteful giving out his award. Me thinking my god they both are having problems moving though- they are almost my age, ugh, we are getting old. thank god Diddy had matching red underneath his pants so when then slipped down, we didn’t see any, oh please don’t. He didn’t get much reception because people don’t remember who he is. It’s sad to me that musical awareness doesn’t even go back to the 90s.

But I was a little disappointed with this collaboration, I think Anitta could have sang a little bit in Portuguese and HYBE definitely doesn't know how to do a collaboration, the artist comes in, sings and then leaves. The best kpop collaborations are still Super Junior feat. Leslie Grace and NCT Dream feat. HRVY

Bighit usually does that because they want their groups to still be able to perform the song even when the singer they're collaborating with isn't present, which almost always gonna be the case since they're in countries very far from each other. Which means the singer they're collaborating shouldn't be present through the song or else when the group performs it alone it won't be like too much is missing .
