You are right about there being a storyline, and I really enjoyed your interpretation. This is what Taehyun said in a recent interview: “Story-wise, The Name Chapter is about a phase where you solidify your identity and your name as you grow into adulthood, we try to express that temptation where you just want to settle for now & don't want to grow up anymore. In TXT's universe, temptation means you choose something that is not helpful for the future. Falling into that choice is the temptation.” So the way I interpret the story of this album is how the boys are tempted by the devil and sway in front of the temptation to live in the present, enjoy the freedom and leisure of youth, even when they know they have to grow up; with Farewell, Neverland acting as a track to show the boys giving up the things that tempted them previously as they acknowledge they have to grow up and ‘leave Neverland.’ Also, yes, they performed Devil By The Window live at music shows during their promotions, so there are several performances you can watch (although I’m not sure how copyright will be). They just released a performance video for it though (kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqaYYYt8gK19gbs&ab_channel=TOMORROWXTOGETHEROFFICIAL); so while there is no singing, you get to see the choreography and it’s really well shot! I’d also love for you to check out their performances on the show ‘It’s Live’ where they performed Sugar Rush Ride (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJvKmmOJmtaij9U&ab_channel=it%27sLive) and Farewell Neverland (kzbin.info/www/bejne/l36Qc2moodOqf9k&ab_channel=it%27sLive) with a live band. I’d also love to see more TXT album reactions if you have time, especially if you enjoy overarching narratives, as each album and chapter has its own unique story that follows on from the previous ones, so I’d love to hear your thoughts (plus their b-sides are some of their best work!)

Fun fact: txt recorded the chorus of tinnitus SHIRTLESS 😳... now whenever I listen to it I can't get that out of my mind

im sure the gasp at the end of 'devil by the window' connects to the beginning of 'sugar rush ride' mv where they wake up to find out they are in an island and that's genius!

You were right that these were not the best lyric videos there were a few mistakes here and there especially in Farewell Neverland where in one part they got the members singing parts wrong and the translation they did says “Hi Neverland” when they were actually saying “Farewell Neverland”. Despite all that thank you for the reaction and I like your interpretations of the meanings because mine is more focused on the storyline of Neverland and the Lost boys and how they fall into the temptation presented to them by Peter Pan(or the devil) of never wanting to grow up but as time goes on they begin to realise that Neverland(the island) was not what it seemed and that it was not good for them so they decide to leave the island.

lmao that translation of annyeong neverland yeah. I never understood why they translated it to "hi neverland" when the song is called "farewell neverland" and even previously they translated annyeong to "bye"

I hadn’t listed to the whole album yet so this was very interesting. I enjoyed it. I need to listen to them all again to pick my favorite, but I am leaning towards the last song, Farewell, Neverland although Devil By the Window is very different. I like it too.

the chorus of farewell neverland reminds me of the chorus of lonely boy: lonely boy stays lonely

They have performances for Devil by the Window (in music shows, and the performance video), Sugar Rush Ride (music shows, studio choom and mv choreo version, and its live version with just pure vocals) and Finding Neverland (its live, heavenly.vocals!) Hope you can react to them!

Enjoy your new hard drive, Alexa. I always feel guilty when content providers are best by technical difficulties trying to provide new stuff. Re : Lyrics in English. One of the TXT guys, I forget which one, was born and raised in Hawaii, so English is actually his first language. He admits his Korean is spotty, and he sometimes relies on the other members for translation.

Just a correction: while Kai was born in Hawaii, he only lived there for 6 months until he moved to China and then eventually Korea, so while he can speak English, Korean is definitely his more comfortable language 😊 Yeonjun lived in California for 2 years growing up, so he speaks English too, but Korean is definitely the most comfortable language for all of the TXT members.
