This comeback is just chef's kiss🙈 For the mv: the main theme of this comeback is Neverland. The more you spend time on the island, the harder it is to get out. So when Yeonjun and Soobin touch the flowers they succumbed to the temptation. Now it's harder for them to leave the island. When boys realized that this "sugar rush ride" is just an illusion, they go back to the boat and leave Neverland.

This album is so good. I love this song so much. My favorite song off the album is "Farewell Neverland" so far. I cannot stop listening to it. My close second is "Devil by the window" and then "Sugar Rush Ride". All Masterpieces. The entire album is no skip. They just get better and better.

I read a description of the song on twitter and so I had a clue. One of the group members talked about how this song describes being tempted by the Devil but coming out out it by the end. I just read that yesterday, so that was my clue. They have said many times to follow the songs in track order to understand the whole message. I use the lyric videos when there are no English subtitles , too.

This MV reminds me so much of the Greek myth of the Lotus-eaters. In the myth, Odysseus and his men were shipwrecked on an island where people ate lotus flowers, which caused them to forget their home and loved ones, and only long to stay with their lotus-eaters, making them sleepy, blissful, and apathetic. You can see Yeonjun and Soobin interact with flowers, Kai touches a lizard that changes psychedelic colors, andTaehyun floats. Beomgyu is like Odysseus, he realizes what is happening and tries to avoid the butterflies and Yeonjun, who has fully succumbed.

Tbh when I first heard the teasers for the songs... The title didn't stick out to me so much - my attention was grabbed by 'Devil by the window' - however when I watched the MV I changed my mind... The pre-chorus and chorus of the song has been stuck in my head the whole day. Loved every song from this comeback❤️ Loved your reaction to this as well

Your reaction to the beat drop and switch up for the chorus was literally me as well. I was so so shocked! I thought it was going to be a happy bop song but.... boy was I wrong. 😅 This MV is definitely one of my favorites for many reasons, one being it's visually beautiful! The live stages for this song and Devil by the Window are amazing! The choreography is everything! Once again TXT never fails to deliver.

I loved this comeback. The song is great, the vocals amazing as usual, their acting is top notch, the story is interesting, the scenery captivating. My bias is Yeonjun, but now I'm having a hard time deciding if Kai is staying wrecker or climbing up to second bias spot. He's been fighting for it basically since day one. They sure did grow up huh 😂 I just keep noticing more things, and you can pause pretty much anywhere and get a still you could hang on the wall. They're really beautiful and I feel attacked 🤣 That anti-drop destroyed me the first time through and now I'm just enjoying watching other people be surprised by it. They take all these interesting musical risks and they aren't afraid to go pretty high concept in the video - they're just so sincere about the story they're telling, and it's easy to imagine it being cheesy but they really commit and it works. I've always loved the apparent mismatch between their sound and lyrics, so I'm happy to see more of that. The rest of the album is also pretty great - this isn't even my favorite at this point 😁 It really is a hell of a thing. I really love the surprise.
