I totally agree with driving a 2wd on low grip. I've been driving my b6d and when I go back to my eb410 I'm way better with the 4wd after

Hey, Ty. have you ever made use of electronics (accelerometer, gyro, IMU, microcontrollers) to analyze your traction circle after (or during) a run as other motorsports like F1 do? They're used to monitor and analyze grip usage to maximize the utilization of grip. If you haven't, do you know anybody who has? If not, any idea why people aren't doing this at high levels of racing?

Kind of got out of the hobby for a while since I had HPI but they discontinued my buggy and poor parts support. Was thinking TLR perhaps. Being American would like to try Buying American. Otherwise would probably get XRay. Thanks for the tips Ty!. Our closest track is about 1 hour. Was thinking of building a track around here.
@Tuffenough4u7 жыл бұрын
TLR "Losi" is pretty much all made in China and another place like Pakistan, I can't remember honestly. But yeah, I don't know of anyone in the biz that doesn't outsource. Tekno is going to be the most American of all of them and their stuff is second to none in the manufacturing quality and durability of parts.
@joeddejohn7 жыл бұрын
On the RC Network he seems to like Tekno. Thanks. Seriously that good? Hmm. Ok. Might consider that if I purchase another buggy. Just really burned on the whole HPI thing. $450 RTR not running well out of the box. Another 400-500 in upgrades to make it solid. Then they discontinue the model. Not sure I want to go through that again. Even though I think TLR and Mugen are great need to start thinking about American. If the quality is there then makes sense. Have no idea about parts support, etc. with Tekno.

The last RC company to have everything manufacter and produced in the U.S. is Novak. As far as I'm concern, every other company out there is out sourcing all their products.
@joeddejohn7 жыл бұрын
Thanks rclover828. I was disappointed with Novak going out of business, but I went with Tekin since I heard Novak was having quality issues. What a bummer.

Hi Ty..one question. Why dont you race the Truggy? I have a buggy and Truggy. Was told that Truggy destroys the buggy driving skills. What do u say to this?
