I live in Montana and I'm so proud that this song is dedicated to it!!! Sometimes I hop on my four wheeler and drive through the woods and along my neighborhood while listening to Tycho. I enjoy the fragrance of the outdoors, all the trees, the beautiful rivers and creeks that run rage through the forest, the creatures that roam around, the mountains, and especially Lake Blaine's beautiful scenery. This place will always have a special place in my heart and I will always think of this place when I hear this song. It really breaks my heart that soon I will have to move away from this gorgeous place due to money issues, but I will always remember it by the memories it implanted in my soul and this beautiful song.

This song healed me out of a rolling panic attack the other day. I was having the worst attacks for 3 hours and didn't know how to get out of it. My friend came and helped me and remembered that I love Tycho and started playing this song. The second the song started I started to feel happy again and started sobbing from waves of emotion. I listened to a couple more songs from this album and kind of cried myself out of the panic attack. I will never forget the magic it did to my body. Music is truly medicine. Thank you Tycho

For 5 and a half minutes, I was in a state of mind without any stress and competition at all. Whenever you feel overwhelmed with life, go sit in a couch and listen to Tycho for a while. Also, don't overdose Tycho while working with other stuff, because the healing effect weakens when you consume in the non-stressed state
@tulminov-21422 жыл бұрын
very well said, mate... "stress and competition" - since many years i have to stay at home most of the time due to an illness - i use my time with cruising youtube, and i keep finding incredible music, old and new - i also read literally thousands of comments (although my friends keep saying "don´t!"), and what disturbs me in many, many of them is: this music is far better than... (fill in any famous band or musician) - the last example was a singer with a guitar and someone told me: "he delivers far better songwriting here, than bob dylan did in his whole career" - what a stupid nonsense, no? people seem to be full of competition, some actually fight fiercely about matters of taste - i feel reminded of little children who try to fight out whose mother is the most beautiful woman in the world... in my youth, when i was in the punk phase, aggressively shouting out my problems in the music, raw rock music of course, i had many reasonings with my grandmother, who was a strong, wise and humble woman - she could not understand our music and i didn´t like her music, classical music that was.... she kept asking, why we took fight and war into our music instead of keeping it out - "shouldn´t music be the one place, where we can find a little peace and a little peace of mind, at least for a short while?" (btw. i´m quite proud, that we loved and respected each other, no matter how much we disagreed in so many things) i couldn´t understand it back then, but her words kept working in me, she had planted some good seeds indeed - some years later i slowly began to understand and that was the time when i slowed down a little and began to see others, not only my little problems - the more i did that, the more humble i became and the more i left competition behind - a friendly, sportive little competition can be a good challenge, perfectly ok, but no one needs fierce fighting... for me music keeps being for enjoying and bliss, for dancing, meditating, dreaming, sharing feelings, but nor for letting others down, surely not... thank you for your nice words..... :-)

The first time I left home two years ago from the East to West coast, I knew I was gonna play this song. It was maybe a week into my journey and I remember first entering eastern Montana during the golden hour and I knew I had to play this song. Such a significant memory, one of adventure and uncertainty. Those notes that shine through at the very climax of the song are truly beautiful. First I had heard of Tycho was when you played Cochella. I want to express not only how beautiful your music is but would also like to state that I saw something amazing while you played.I noticed how deeply entranced your audience had become, immediately. But in a different way then they were reacting with other bands. One could see the serene pleasure upon their faces and the mellow vibration the crowd's mood had become. I would recommend this music for meditation or massage rooms. With hopes Tycho stays around for a long time. Thank you.

@ben19968 жыл бұрын
***** Yeah I'm not that happy, but I definitely have moments where I feel happy. It was more of a channeling of hope more than anything. The chances of knowing what's going on are slim if you aren't engorged in the news,experiencing it for yourself, or all over youtube 24/7. It was meant to affect the imagination to chain the thoughts. I was just feeling good when I typed it, so the idea was to spread that feeling as well as it will. There's no good in being sad and depressed all the time about what's happening. That's the trick. If you let it drag you down then you'll fall with it if you aren't motivated that is. My point is to stay positive and do something about it rather than to mourn all the time. You're likely calling yourself insane by saying, "no sane person should ever be happy given the circumstances the world is in and our story as a species." You're actually calling everyone that is happy, insane. You're also telling me to struggle and try to make the world a better place. Sure it won't be just smiles and happiness. I don't thing I'm going to be struggling though. You simply wrote a giant fallacy saying how it is. When I wrote something to motivate and bring people out of their sadness if at all possible. Nice try? All I did was write an encouraging message. Stress isn't worth it. It's one cause of cancer. Stay cheerful and jolly as well as you can, because you never know when it'll be stripped away from you. I'm not going to drown in a civil war of sadness. I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. We have better things to do than argue among ourselves about who's right and who's wrong.
