I think Scott needs to surround himself with some honest friends/musicians who are willing to tell him when the vocals are not a good choice. Royksopp is a good example of how to mix electronic music with vocals resulting in sublime music. They seem to always find great vocalists that suit their music. This vocalist reminds of me the teenage niece who breaks out her ukulele at family get togethers and sings in the style of Grace VanderWaal.

Horizon among many others. That said, I have a hard time listening to their music the last couple years or so and thinking it actually sounds like Tycho. The vocals just make them sound like anything else, which is fine, just not great.

@cas_per1 I don't mind a little bit just for a certain vibe or aesthetic, but when the instrumental takes a backseat personally I feel like I'm losing the main reason I listen to them to begin with. However there's tons of other listeners that enjoy that very thing and think it's the best music they've released. Oh well.
