"The video for Time To Run is based around a cross country meet I ran in when I was first starting out in the sport. Cross country races can be a very solitary pursuits; spectators, coaches and officials are all there at the starting area but once the race begins you disappear into the woods where it’s just you against the other runners, carrying all the expectations of the outside world. The intense pressure and overwhelming physical stress of the moment can make you want to just keep running and never look back. This story is about letting go of the expectations of others and finding your own peace and fulfillment."

I've loved your music for other a decade and have seen you live 3 times. This song is an absolute banger, I love the heavy beat. It bring more of the energy of your live shows to a studio song, it's awesome. I first came across Tycho's sound 12-13 years ago while watching Adult Swim. Fortunately, AS had the Ghostly Swim album and I was able to discover more music by Tycho. It's odd and kind of "full circle-ish" that Time to Run came out. Every marathon I ever ran has had a lot of Tycho in the playlist. Outer Sunset being my personal favorite.
