Try Emancipator.. I feel the same way with both tycho and Emancipator.. give them a try.. I recommend “black lake”, “Anthem”, “good knight” “safe in the steep cliffs”, “maps” “father king”, and their newest track “labyrinth”.. although I love all their albums but those are some of my fave tracks. This is one of the prettiest and most therapeutic songs you've released. I have a habit of listening to it everyday while taking a walk, and as a result I've really internalized its structure and little melodies and production details. It's an intricately made, considered piece of music that takes a very simple starting point (Skate) and builds it into such an inventive combination of discrete elements, like the dirty, distorted drums, an echoing bed of birdcall-like synths in the background, the bright little flute fills, and the arpeggios. Gives the whole song this "narrative arc" that gets richer and richer the more you listen and catch the details. So happy this song exists.
