Dude! An American Werewolf in London is a classic. It's not a traditional horror like the Exorcist or Halloween. There's some comedic elements but the practical effects by Rick Baker are amazing and still hold up today. In fact, it won an Academy Award for Best Makeup.

It’s taken so long for XTB to release their first-aid figure I cancelled it and sold the other two protectobot figures they released. More so cause they had two much kibble, and the transformation was a nightmare. I’m extremely happy with the MMC protectobots. And that Thrust have some of the same looks as the Maketoys version, but looks a lot better quality. Just by the look the plastic doesn’t look cheap and fragile.

MMC does look to be an easier Defensor to deal with but a bit shorter sadly. Thrust may be based on Takara and will be interesting to see how tall it is

Another great video, thank you for keeping the viewers informed with the news. I wasn't going to pick up the previous transformers buzzworthy deathpack (Prowl & Ironhide), but i was walking around the retail store Gabes and found 3 on the shelf for $11.99. It was a steal, so I did pick it up. I guess if the new pack makes it to a discount store I'll grab it as well.

I'm on the fence. 3rd party ko os is becoming more n more. Making it try to be a cheaper mp. Sometimes it's better, sometimes not. But I definitely see it pushing the price of true MPs up in the future.

American Werewolf in London is one of those historic movies that you just have to see once. Like The THing, or Buckaroo bonzai ( which I havent seen, its just too corny). The practical effects are cool and it has a loyal fan base. I dont remember it being that scary, but I do remember a couple of bloody scenes, so I wouldn't watch it with kids.

Whoooooo, this is gonna be long, so lemme start with the shortest stuff first. Samurai Sunstreaker...the spoiler on the vehicle mode looks like a helicopter rotor! 😂😂🤣🤣 SS86-29 Bumblebee (you were right, but you didn't have to guess, pics of Bee's box were included when Hasbro revealed him and SS86-30 Springer at the last Transformers livestream they did): That torso - and thus the top of the car - is definitely pretty squarish, looks like a blatantly obvious pretooling for Cliffjumper and his repaints (Bumper, Hubcap, etc.). Now for the lengthier stuff. 😎 A Generations Selects TREDZ!?Yoooooo...I was JUST talking about that in the comments on a picture of the eHobby Gobots that somebody posted!! Tredz was one of six Gobots - three Renegades and three Guardians - who crossed into the world of the Transformers and took on Cybertronian bodies as an advance scouting party to find the means to save Gobotron. Remember Bugbite being a white Bumblebee? In terms of lore, that's why. Tredz was a green Warpath, Badboy was a gray Powerglide with a blue face, Road Ranger was a black Huffer with a orange robot mode, Pathfinder was a blue Cosmos (and a girl), and my girl Smallfoot was a red & brown Gears. Obviously, there's been others who have crossed over. Crasher is a Mirage repaint, and revamped so that she's his cousin (IDW has done crazier, like Needlenose and Tracks being brothers, wtf...). Another team of Guardians crossed over who didn't get toys but were Combiner Wars repaints: Leader-1 (Airraid body w/Slingshot head), Staxx (Optimus Prime mold without a robot OR combiner head), Hans-cuff (Streetwise version Deadend mold), Turbo (Wheeljack version Breakdown mold), and I think another one I can't remember, unless it was just eHobby Smallfoot again. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Stand Alone Complex 2nd GiG were anime spinoffs of the ol' skool Ghost in the Shell movie. There was also a movie - Stand Alone Complex 2079 or something like that - I think it was effectively supposed to be a third season of the Stand Alone Complex anime. Anywho, it probably won't matter to you, but Motoko's last name (Kusanagi) is pronounced kuu'•suh•nah•gee (the "Ku" having the most emphasis on it between the syllables). If you've ever played The King of Fighters, Capcom vs. SNK, SvC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom, or SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium back in the day, she's got the same last name as KoF poster boy Kyo Kusanagi.

The core of that thrust is 100% the new Takara mold. Either a KO company is basing a Thrust off the official or somehow this is how an official leaked. I guess the KO route is more likely but if it is official I wonder what silly number/+ it’ll get.

That's what I was thinking too. The torso, waist, arms, and hands are all too similar to MP 52.

Looking at it more, this is definitely some sort of Takara mold. Not only does the upper body scream MP 52, but so do the legs and even the poses they have it in. I'm really excited for this. I've wanted some Coneheads in the style of MP 52 ever since MP 52 was released.

Extendar did sell out pretty quickly. Not in seconds like in the past, but definitely didn't last all day. I couldn't get online until around 3 that day due to work things. And it was sold out by then.

I personally like watching these reactions and try to see as many as I can for the 86 movie. Funny how some ask where is bumblebee and why is not a huge part of it, while others see why anyone who grew up with that didn’t care that much for bay verse movies, of course everyone likes the soundtrack, which I still have songs from it on my gym playlist 🫡

7:37, 7:42 hmmm... wasn't the MP01 twelve inches, and the MPP10 slightly taller? I'll have to double check the heights of the MPP10 & MMP10 molds... I preferred those scales as they were close to 1/24 scale, i.e. the scale of M.A.S.K vehicles. If it's that size (or bigger) I'll probably pick it up. And if they make room for a figure to fit inside?!?!??!! That'd make it close to a no-brainer for me.

Yeah, all those figures are at the 12in mark so it makes sense why they oversized that Prime to that size. Not sure why Mike thought that was weird, but it's a common size for Primes in the oversized world

@tydiriumhanger1320 but hound, wheeljack, and mirage were never OS'd... not even when CW made them into a combiner and KOs were flying high and mighty, KOing just about every other gestalt. Nevertheless, characters like *_Optimus, Grimlock, and Megatron_* will likely continue to be bots that are done in a variety of sizes. Sideswipe, Ironhide, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and the Seekers are the only additional characters I recall got an MP mold/design upscaled and KOd to about that scale or bigger _(while far more got other non-MP molds redone as differemt sizes)_ Unless that image is for an official release, then it seems business as usual where one of the main 4 TFs gets OSKO'd treatment.

Honestly, if you're going to rerelease Phantom Menace toys, focus on the ships and vehicles. Those were the highlights when the movies first came out and remain so today. Nobody wants a Padme, young Ani or JarJar. Obi-Wan and Qui-gon, Darth Maul, sure.

Time to back off collecting even more.., Prices/the economy, availability, Getting older now And definitely better things to focus on.. Like you said, Why... When it comes to any transformers now basically. Been backing off transformers big time the last couple years... Boring/ reuse, reissue, remodeled, different scale etc.. Nothing all that good since masterpiece.. And waiting 20 minutes to buy that Hot Wheels/Optimus prime with it not going through over and over and over and then sold out and nit getting one Even at that ridiculous price... Last straw. Other than waiting for reissue of grimlock To finish My 3 sets Maybe if they ever do a aerial box set like the recent stunticons

I think the MCFarlane and Marvel are for statues, I doubt Hasbro would get rid of that line. If anything it should be SW. That franchise is dead.

I can agree mainline Transformers are still mostly well done, but it feels like they've backslide steadily since Siege. If I were Hasbro I would focus on my own stuff over licensed too though. Still if that's the case give the license to someone like McFarlane toys that can give it a fresh build. ML look and feel so cheap...
