I’d rather have incandescent bulbs. I’m starting to see a lot of older LED taillights with burned out segments. Probably the only way to fix is replace the whole taillight assembly. I’d rather buy a $4 bulb.

I bought a black 2025 1RS model for my daughter who just got her license. It also had a couple equipment upgrades. With dealer incentives and my supplier discount I got it for less than the price of the base model. I think it'll be a great first car for her. The delaer also included a lifetime powertrain warranty so I'm not too concerned about the 3 cylinder engine and whether it'll hold up long term. Considering she will drive it less than prolly 5k miles a year I think it's perfect for the price and what you get. Great review!

I like this vehicle, but I have concerns about the long-term durability of the wet timing belt. I've seen reviews of other Chevy cars that have this type of belt, like the Chevy Onix, and it seems they start to break around 50,000 miles.

This Trax is like a new 1990s SUV but updates for the 2020s. It's should be overall more reliable.

Chevy has been running this engine in the base model Trailblazer for several years. They seem to be fairing well. I haven’t heard of any widespread catastrophic failures.
