Great informative video very well done, Thank You!. Very nice vehicle, we were looking to purchase one up here in Canada. Had our dealership salesperson been as knowledgeable & informative as you we might have purchased, may still do so but now we've missed out on the Springtime interest deals! One thing that surprised me, NO Homelink/ Garage Door opener.

Well documented video man. Just bought this car. 2024 rline which is last year of present model. Dont want to wait for next model starting delivery end of 2024 and dont want 1st 2nd year of a new model. interest rates will be higher too and the price too on newmodel so meh I'll lease this one for now and maybe change after 3..4 years of lease or not...

You say this Tiguan has fog lights but I didn't see any at all when did your walk around the front end. Are you certain that pull-out switch is for fog lights?

No questions asked definitely going to pick up a 2024 Tiguan in pretty much the exact same spec except black exterior and I probably will just end up Drilling the fake exhausts to make them real and putting a better exhaust system as well as cat and muffler delete larger downpipe and cold air intake car will be perfect

This is the US version of the Tiguan for 2024. We are always a model year behind for new designs…

This ends about end of 2024 and new starts end of 24. But. I got this dont want 1 ou 2nd year of new model. After 3 years i ll change it.

In CANADA we have different specs and packages but this is definitely a 2024 !!

Maybe, but not the updated European 2024. North America will get the update next year, but even then it will be a different car. That one will be the formally China only (slightly larger) Tayron, renamed and sold here as a Tiguan.

I'm confused, are there two 2024 models? I see a completely new design on other European channels from the Geneva auto show.

This is the 2024 Tiguan for the American market. Other European markets will get the all new design for the 2024 model year. In the USA, VW and other European manufacturers are usually a model year behind with bring over the new designs.

Yes, the passenger seat is power adjustable!

I thought they changed the body style for the 2024 ? I had a 2022 R line black it looks the same. I wish they changed interior and exterior too 😂. Is this 2024 not 2023 it looks different from other channel they were new style

This is the 2024 model year Tiguan for the USA. We are always a year behind with new models. Europe gets the all-new Tiguan for the 2024 model year

Tiguan is still way underpowered. Its too bad because its a nice looking SUV. Why not offer a larger engine option in the SEL trim?

Buyers always say that. But if it has more power, they'd then be whining about its poor gas mileage. You can't have it both ways. Its also not "way under-powered". Its performance is equivalent to its competition.

Just not a market for high horsepower low mpg crossover suv. Most people buying this are looking for average mpg with room for small family

I agree with you and it is a shame because the exterior design is very nice. Good interior as well but at this trim level it should have HUD. In fact every vehicle should have HUD standard as part of their Safety features because the displayed information helps keep your eyes on the road. Back to the power specs, I don't know why Volkswagen is so terrified of giving their vehicles good horsepower and torque numbers. This vehicle deserves it especially since it weighs 4,000 lbs. It is severely de-tuned. A Nissan Rogue with a Turbo 3 cyl. and 201hp, 225lb.ft of Torque will probably perform better. Except their CVT is so un-enjoyable. Volkswagen should build their engines so that they'll perform differently depending on the grade fuel being used. So for example lower Hp and Torque if you use Regular Fuel and higher Hp and Torque if you use Premium Fuel. Let the driver decide between excellent power or fuel efficiency. I believe Mazda does this with many of their vehicle offerings. I mean what's the point of all the drive modes? It has Eco Mode for goodness sake!! So frustrating for us enthusiasts. You can do better Volkswagen.

Unsold 2022/early2023 models they change bumbers a bit and updated vin number and document and now you get a 2024. Trust me i work for a manufacturer.
