Once again, great job! This first person look at the 2018 Focus was properly detailed and thorough. I still can't believe Ford isn't going to be making any more cars for 2019... Only Trucks, Vans and Crossovers. Nevertheless, the Focus seems like a pretty solid buy for those in the search for a new compact sedan. Especially when you consider the large amount of incentives Ford is currently offering. As always, keep up the great work!

In my opinion, Ford has been misinterpreting the American consumer who, I believe, still prefer full bodied autos regardless of the style. The Taurus, a larger sized family sedan saved the company from financial ruin in the mid-eighties. So, even though the discontinuation of the Fiesta, Focus and Fusion are welcomed, the Ecosport, with its diminutive profile, will fall short in America, but could do well abroad. Ford, can't compete in the smaller segments, never could, never will.

I have heard the same, it’s not so reliable. They offer two different 6 speed autos plus the 6 speed manual. So you’ve got 2 other transmissions to choose from

Can you tell me which two autos more? I found one in my city with 6-Speed PowerShift® Automatic Transmission its hutch sel.I drove him and i like how is going.It can be so bad :( i like model

So there’s only 2 automatic transmissions. There’s a normal 6 speed with the torque converter, then there’s the PowerShift one. That’s the dual clutch transmission, not the best for reliability.

I have a 2014 Ford Focus transmission seems funny since we bought it and the AC doesn't work as well as I thought it should but it's okay Ford wants me to bring in my 14 and I'll trade it for an 18 I want to see what they can do I might do that Maybe

Here before Ford closes it's doors to sedans, they don't sell well,I wonder why. I like the hood and bumber,but the grill looks to be similar to older models,could of made the headlights bigger

My 12 SE had an evap go bad, collapsed gas tank, power steering, and radio all dead in 2 years of ownership. No tranny issues because I have a 5 speed...yet. Can't to see what weird crap ford engineers screw up with these new engines. Next time it's Toyota Corolla for me. If I can ever afford to buy another car.

The design of this car is fucked up the window base is up too high and you can't actually see when you're turning like if you turning close-by a curb you can't see. and you could accidentally run over the curbing and you can't actually see what's coming up beside you on the highway because the window base is up too high and you really can't see when you're backing up like on the side of you
