Tyed for the Bristol Reservoir Fly Fishers Association Demo Night November 2021.
Materials Used;
Thread, Un-8/0 Lt-Cahill
Tail, Light Brown Olive Cock Hackle Fibres
Hook, Fulling Mill Competition Heavyweight size 10
Body and Rib, Peacock Quill dyed Yellow or Brown Olive
Cheeks/Wing-Buds, Jungle Cock dyed Flu-Yellow or Goose Biots
Thorax, Hare and American Fox Body Fur and UV Lite-Brite mixed together for dubbing..
Throat, Light Brown Olive Cock Hackle Fibres

The diawl bach is an staple in most anglers fly boxes. Skinny or stripped quill perfect for nymph buzzers or even pin fry. Chunky body’s work better for snails corixa or beetles
