Tying the hot collar pheasant tail nymph

In my fly tying video debut, I tie one of my most productive nymphs for trout on the river. The hot collar pheasant tail nymph.
Materials:
Hook - Size 12 Veniard osprey jig hook
Bead - 3.2mm gold tungsten slotted bead
Thread - Uni 8/0 dark brown
Rib - Uni soft gold small
Body - Cock pheasant tail fibres
Collar - Globrite floss No.5
Optional collar sparkle- Veniard peacock dubbing, orange

Excellent robert wish I could tie flies but am 60 now and wouldn't have the patience so I just have to buy them 😂 like watching you guys tie flies make it look easy 👍

Thanks Shuggy, oh I’m far from being an expert I’ve only been tying a couple of years so still a relative beginner at the game but the flies catch fish and that’s the most important thing 😊
