A simple pattern but very well tied by the master!! Been tying for 57 years now but always enjoy watching you and sometimes picking up a technique or two to add to my tool box! This pattern reminds me of a simplified Jock Scott! Here we would likely tie it with a moose hair wing on my side of the pond! No doubt a good salmon fly, imo! Thanks!

I would love to see a video of how you maintain your scissors, I have had about 2 dozen. The tips always go first, even though I am extremely careful about what I cut and how I cut. My hands do shake, so occasionally they get bumped into a hook eye or shank. When they do, sometimes they are never the same again... That said, I tend to use a sewing thread or seam ripper more often than I use my scissors. Thanks Davie.
