Hi Brian, I'm glad you like the fly. I have attached a link to the scissors I was using in the video...I have only had them a short time but I have been very happy with them so far, I was using the Loon versions which lasted me nearly a year until I broke the points by dropping them on the floor.. Is your seals fur mixed with another fur or pure seals? Asking because it seems to dub nicely compared to what i normally see with seal. Thanks,Len

Hi Len, It was pure seals fur I used though I do mix most of my dubbing and one of the best is to mix in a little rabbit and at times some flash like lite-brite if needed..I like to blend them in a small coffee grinder which will make it easier to dub... All the very best Davie...

Hi Calum, There's many ways that you could sell your flies nowadays like Ebay and even if you can your own website...I tyed flies mostly for myself but I got a job working on a river so tying flies was for the guests that came to the water so this is how I started to tye for other people. I also worked as a fishery manager for many years so I would tye flies for the shop so that they had the flies that were on the water throughout the season..I hope this is of some help to you and I wish you all the best.. Hi Paul, If you have a normal yellow dye and then the flu-red, use this instead of the flu-yellow, over the years I have found new batches of dyes can slightly change and this can cause problems..Are you using Veniards dyes? All the very best Davie
