Fantastic fly Davie... I would really love to see the way you strip the peacock herl. I have tried a couple of times but it was a failure. I don't know if I am using the right amount of bleach and water. Showing the way you create the little wax piece in your hand and what kind of wax is that would be great as well! You're a fly tying encyclopedia Davie! You know that? :) Thank you so much!

Hey Davie, I have noticed you use UV resin alot and I thought I would share my recent discovery. That is a 400nm lazer pointer from ebay as a high intensity and accurate curing light. They sell for about $10 on ebay. I guess it does the same job as the LED torch, but it seems more effecient to me (also great for charging glow materials on flies when you are on the water).

thanks davie great fly! greetings from vancouver island BC. i would really appreciate it if you could outline the rig/outfit you use to fish all these amazing buzzers you tie. also, what brand of varnish do you use? thanks.

Davie, you use a peacock quill for the body of this fly - do your find it is brittle after the bleaching? Some say that you should store in water to maintain pliability; how do you store them? Thanks, and as always, your videos are awesome. Mike.

Hi Davie I have used the normal bug bond for a year now i think it is great stuff to use and saves loads of time. Is it worth trying the light version of the bug bond? Who makes the new one your using at the moment? Regards Richie
