Seriously! I have 348 locs and almost three months loced. My hair is thinner but when I wash and let them dry they swell a bit. I am doing the micro twist loc method so I'm waiting for mine to loc completely. Gorgeous hair Tykara!

It’s called a spout and yes I agree, condition your hair. Just make sure it’s thoroughly rinsed out. THOROUGHLY ☺️

I would recommend not conditioning your locs until your locs are mature AND you are adding either a monthly or quarterly deep cleaning for your locs where you soak your hair in a hair tub with either acv or really strong shampoo or even dawn soap (that depends on the build up)

@@MiNNi0La I cant think of the names but I have seen atleast 3 different KZbinrs who have microlocs without the grid and prefere it. So look up microlocs without the grid , they claim it looks more natural than the obvious grid and makes their hair look thicker. It's not as common because I cant find to many of them. I am just fascinated that having no grid can be an option. I have seen saw a video of a beautiful set of microlocs that was not being maintained by interlocks but by twisting or palm rolling girl said its controversial but it works for her and only takes 3 hours to do her whole head versus the interlock method. I might still go with traditional sisterlocks with grid but I am opening my options to other methods I didnt even know where possible.

Your hair is still your hair. It doesn't change because you decided to get locs. If your hair is used to being oiled then continue to do that. My advice? Listen to your hair over a loctician when it comes to moisturizing your hair. They don't know your hair personally like you do.
