The metal community’s pretty tight knit, so his accusers would be believed. This sounds like stuff he would have been doing on a regular basis, so I guess the more he denied it the more accusations would have come out. He wouldn’t have a leg to stand on

Tyler held a special place in my life since he introduced me to my first fiance Rachel Reece and after her passing he was there for me along with many others. I never imagined this wouldve happened but i still wish him well.

Everyone deserves second chances. He’s a better person now. He owned up to the stuff he did in the past. It sucks he’s not in the band anymore it sucks he did that stuff in the past but he’s not the first person in a band who’s done this and people have gotten over those people doing those things. He’s a good person he’s changed. Give the man a second chance. All this negativity in the world all this cancel culture stuff it needs to stop. Let’s move on from this. PEOPLE DO CHANGE. Like I said it all sucks he’s suffering he’s lost good things. I think he’s sincere. He will still be one of my favorite singers.

18 and 19 with the other being 17 is a bit different cause it is within a reasonable range. Personally I went out of my way to not date anyone below 18 when I turned 18. But now he's 29 (28 when allegations dropped) which is very different. I saw some allegations of the victims being as young as 14.

Interesting. So is this considered one of the moments that precipitated the formation of Brojob? I did a bit more digging. I’m thinking this is why Brojob was formed. It’s comical really… like history repeating itself constantly. I mean, Rob Halford is a huge Judy Garland fan. Which is why he’s able to sing the way he does today. He admitted he liked to sing along to her songs when growing up. Bessie Smith, The Empress of the Blues. Janis Joplin, the Queen of Electric Rock, who also changed the way rock is sung with an electric band was a huge fan of Blues and Bessie Smith. I don’t know much about Freddie Mercury’s influences. Darby Crash of The Germs. Of course Bowie. Prince. The list goes on and on. And will continue.

It's so shocking to me as a fan, I was ready to delete all their music, throw away Issues merch and cds, I loved their music and Tyler is a huge part of that but I don't want to support in ANY way someone that could harm people in the ways that are alleged, even though he's taken ownership for the hurt and trauma he's caused he hasn't taken "responsibility", he hasn't paid for his alleged crimes. I'm never usually on the fence about these types of things but if its all true then it makes me not want to hear his voice at all, however I also feel terrible for his ex bandmates and I don't know the full story.

Fair enough, would be nice but. Issues has had its enjoyable moments and even short lived knowing them for me. Being a pink veteran myself and in my 30s. Disappointing on Tyler's part though always thought what genius a band that fuses screaming bits with melodic hardcore riffs and contemporary rnb lyrics. Got to enjoy my pop angst side with this music and not since the days of FOB, Slick Shoes and Blink 182 have I got the opportunity to enjoy such talent well into adulthood. Anyways maybe in time once the dust settles Tyler could be squeezed back in. And while considering touring isn't happening during covid, maybe he might rejoin back and that's managements PR spin for the moment. Or more than likely it's done and he'll move on with his solo career. But AJs talent and that drummer from 21 Pilots will be interesting to see their career development, ie with whatever they do and wherever it takes them. Tyler carter, despite the bs, has potential to be one of the best cause nobody else really had that RnB type of voice and he made it work very well. Not alot of vocalist can do what he does. He is one of a kind and gotta put some respect on what he has done.
