Dang...this song really hit me man. Hit me hard. The past 2 years I was working at a campground/resort right on the Wolf River up here in northern Wisconsin. Some of the best 2 years of my life. Met some gems of people and friends who mostly have come and gone. Discovered more about myself than ever before, picked up trout fishing and banjo playin...always by the river. Fell for my absolute dream girl there. But recently, all my dreams there died out, broke up with this girl, and I moved away 'bout 5 months ago now. I almost feel like I've lost myself without being there anymore. Much love and thanks for this song brother. I'm gonna hold onto this song for a while.
