I disagree. I happen to LOVE Tyler Perry, and I honor his philanthropic endeavors. He's one of the very few people with money who actually cares and puts his money into worthwhile and Black communities in need. But he shouldn't write OR direct because he's terrible at both. He needs to just run his studio and produce. Hire other writers AND directors (again, because he's terrible at both). Sorry, Tyler. I love you, boo! 😌🤗

The movie didn’t make sense, it never showed what made Megan good and Dallas get married, it’s like he was mean from the first 10 mins until the end. I like Tyler Perry but his movie qualities get worse every year 😵‍💫

I'm still waiting on him to say 'He ain't leaving his house because it's his.' She signed it away in the divorce papers against the advice of having a 'consultant' present. LOL!!! I wanted to watch it to see what all the commotion was about. I didn't miss anything.

First, *I love your Deadpool shirt!!!* 😁 Now, as to the movie, I enjoyed it far more than I have any other Tyler Perry movie in the last seven years (low bar, I know 😆). It kept my attention from the beginning till the end. Admittedly, I spent most of the movie yelling at the TV, *"Girl! Call the f'ing police! Dial 911, heifah!!!"* The terrible writing and directing worked my nerves!! I love Tyler Perry so much, but he really needs to just run his studio and produce. He is too terrible at writing and directing. Here is the worst part for me: At least seven different times, a character commented that *the Atlanta home was **_90 minutes away_** from the country where Ava and Dallas were from and where their parent's still lived.* So WHY is it that *_every single time_** someone needed to rush to the other place, it took them 10 minutes?!!!!* That was pissing me off! Ava leaves the hospital, steals Benji's truck, and in the 10 minutes it took him to use the mother's car, get to Ava's parents house, and call her, Ava is already in Atlanta and has set up a whole *Home Alone/Die Hard* booby trapped house for Dallas. HOW, SWAY?!!! 🤣😅🤣😆🤣 Was she driving the DeLorean from Back to the Future? Sheesh! 🤣

It was awful period. With the exception of Debbie and Cory, all of the main actors had more than one scene that was too corny to perform well in. It was a damn tubi movie. I don’t know if it was the script or the acting.

The movie was your typical Tyler Perry fare. He’s been making the same kind of content for over 20 years. It’s time for you to accept him for the “filmamaker” that he is. As you said his formula is working for his particular audience so he’s not going to elevate or change. I wish you would have talked about the performances. How was Megan? Cory? The rest of the cast?

Just watched this and it’s as terrible as Megan’s show with the 3 women. For starters, the whole taking the body out of the casket was over the top and utterly ridiculous. There was no explanation whatsoever about why the husband’s family disliked Ava and then there was this “confession” about killing the father that was never explained or explored. On the plus side, it’s nice to see Cory getting work I guess. 🤷🏾‍♂️
