Can there be a story where there's no "Step 5: Find", but has "Step 6: Take". Does not find what they're looking for, yet suffers (paying a heavy price). Do you think a story could work like that? If so, can you give us an example?

This is great. I've worked in film 20 years and have a masters in screenwriting, but I love keeping my brain fresh watching this page. Another well thought out and presented piece. Thank you.

I genuinely love the philosophical conflict of the guest speaker knowing this topic so well and articulating the concepts so clearly but also having so much trouble pronouncing the name of the topic. In all honesty, it's epic.

Why is the channel labeled “Tyler Mowery” with a picture of Tyler Mowery if the channel was rebranded as “Top Development”

"The evocation of Charlie Parker's life story, in the Film Whiplash, is the Symbol of the embodiment of the Life philosophy of the main antagonist of the film; this life philosophy being " The absolute obsession with the desire to excel in the mastery of a universal means of expression" , to the detriment of your mental and physical health, which would be the true consequence of following this life path; and the pattern of behaviour it implies IS the risk or sacrifice the protagonist must make to GET WHAT HE WANTS; the Motif used in Whiplash is therefore none other than the motif of The Drum Set = the rhythmic assault tank, as a mean of controlling the rhythm of the Universe; and the moral of the film: "the extremes to which ambition can lead a man". All these elements belong to the Genre Codes of Sports and Military Action Films. Attempt at analysis is all commendable, Tyler Mowery.

I came here expecting to be the only one uptight about the pronunciation. I’m relieved to see I’m not the only one that found it distracting. Great content, but please dial in the voice over. He did say it correctly at about 4:45 and 7:20 so I know it’s possible.

At the climax of Inception Cobb chooses not to stay with Mal and instead go out of the dream. Isn’t that kind of the opposite conclusion of the spinning top scene at the end? In one he cares for reality, and in the other he accepts life no matter what.

Great video as usual- but I wish the speaker would enunciate “philosophical conflict” instead of lazily chewing on and swallowing the phrase whole every time he says it. It distracts and deflates the entire argument.

I understand your video and appreciate it as a whole... but the dad in Whiplash didn't really have a "viewpoint" he was just saying his son was wrong... in my opinion the dad would need to share an example of what success is to him to have a viewpoint.

I like Tyler more. Nothing against Mr. Roneiro, Tyler is just.. I don't know.. better. I definitely would like to see Tyler more on screen. It's not the same if you switch the person on front of the camera. Doesn't really work so well. Difficult to say why, but that's how it is... I all the best, Roneiro, anyway. (Hope I didn't misspell your name vary badly, sorry.)

i realize you're trying to scale up and make a company following your views and values but atleast hire people who have the same knowledge and mic quality as you, you may think you're gonna grow this way but clearly you need to train your hirees more or hire better people, this is not acceptable quality. you can scoff and dismiss this comment as people being resistant to change but i can guarantee you you're getting more views and likes on the videos you're actually in Tyler. your video quality is taking a nose dive, and you may think its fine in the short term but this is not sustainable
