In the last decade I’ve made lasting friendships, had bucket-list adventures, and found a community that I am forever grateful for. Hey Tyler. I don't know if you remember me from camp this year but I told you this at camp too, I was paralyzed for a portion of my life and your videos were one of the only things that kept me motivated when I was in the hospital. I spent months at a time in the hospital and in rehab and, this might sound crazy and I'm sorry, but when I took my first steps in rehab, I walked to a computer where your video was playing. You have helped me in so many ways and I want to say thank you and thank you for being so amazing and sweet at camp this summer :) Hope to see you at camp next year!

I'm from India. I was having a real hard time, there was a crisis, me and my girlfriend got caught by her parents.. I tried to ring up a lot of helplines but no one picked up. That was the time when you released Chosen Family. It was my greatest support, you made me believe in a Future, you made me feel comfortable in my own skin, you instiled the pride in me, and today I'm one of the core members of the first Queer Collective to be formed in any college of Delhi University, and I'm openly gay to all my classmates. I've realised that if you're comfortable and confident with who you are, if you embrace your own identity, no one can question you, no one can bring you down, and all their criticism falters. Thank you so much, Tyler, for everything. You are truly and inspiration and a support. And there's hope, we might get legalised here in India soon ✌

My favorite memory with you: seeing you in the line for security at the Charlotte airport like 2 years ago. We made eye contact and I' had been watching you for so long I thought we were old friends and made a face like "oh my god! Great to see you" then I remembered I was a total stranger to you and felt really awkward and looked away lmao. When I looked back you were beet red too and I knew you knew exactly what went down. I'm late watching this, but my favorite/most personal memory with you is that every time I would write to you with thanks or encouragement YEARS AGO, a little after you first started and when I was pretty new to this, you would always write back with something encouraging for me and actually watch and engage with my content.
